Michael Schumacher’s former manager has made the extraordinary claim that his wife Corinna is HIDING the truth about the Formula One legend’s condition almost six years on from his skiing accident.
The seven-time world champion suffered a near-fatal brain injury in 2013, and has since been cared for at his Lake Geneva home by his wife and their two children Gina-Marie, 22, and Mick, 20.
His old manager and friend Willi Weber, though, believes all is not as it seems and, after being banned from seeing the 50-year-old, has claimed that Corinna is worried the ‘truth’ will be exposed.

His former manager Willi Weber has claimed that Schumacher’s wife Corinna is hiding the truth about his condition from the public
Speaking on a German documentary, he said: ‘I know that Michael has been hit hard, but unfortunately I do not know what progress he makes.
‘I’d like to know how he’s doing and shake hands or stroke his face.
‘But unfortunately, this is rejected by Corinna. She’s probably afraid that I’ll see right away what’s going on and make the truth public.
‘I firmly believe in Michael’s recovery, because I know he is a fighter.
‘If there is a chance, he will use it. That cannot be the end. I pray for him and am convinced that we will see him again.’
It is now almost six years on from Schumacher’s near-fatal skiing crash, in which he suffered severe head injuries in a low-speed fall on the Combe de Saulire above Meribel.
He has not been seen since, and the public have been left to speculate on his condition.

The F1 legend spent three months in a medically-induced coma in the aftermath of the accident, and has been closely looked after ever since.
A recent update came in September, when he was taken to the Georges-Pompidou in Paris, where he had a stem cell tranfusion to reduce inflammation.
It was reported by La Parisien at the time that an employee in the cardiology department said: ‘Yes, he is in my department. And I can assure you he is conscious.’
