Millie Mackintosh shared a naked picture of herself crying in the bath as she admitted she’s been ‘struggling to deal with a tough few months’.

The mother-of-two, 34, shared a gallery of pictures with her followers on Instagram on Thursday which let followers into the anxieties on motherhood and the difficulties she faced with body image she had been experiencing.

The former Made In Chelsea star could be seen resting her head on her hand as her mascara-stained eyes looked away from the camera.

She revealed in the post that although the last few months have been tough, she is on the other side and putting in work to feel good.

She wrote: ‘Social media can sometimes be fake. Here are some truths about me.’

The former fashion label owner admitted she worries she’s not getting motherhood right when she resorts to turning on her TV for her kids when she loses her patience.

She also said she finds messy play ‘difficult at home’, and soft play ‘really overstimulating’ because it sends her into a spiral but feels bad because the children love it.

She said; ‘I don’t want to look back and think I was too busy cleaning up after them than playing. I don’t always feel like I’m being the mum I want to be.’

She told her followers: ‘I’ve become more aware of the negative thoughts I have about my body.

‘I know we’re all different and that’s what makes us all so special but some days I get caught up in a spiral of negative thoughts and comparisons to others.

‘I’m working on it in therapy as I want to be kinder to myself and feel good again.’

‘I love that I get to travel and see new places with work but the mum guilt always creeps in. When I’m working, I feel bad that I’m not at home with the girls but when I’m at home with the girls, I feel bad that I’m not working.’

The star shared the practices which have helped her make a come-back, revealing she rarely goes out in the evenings to prioritise her sleep and early mornings with her kids, over her social life.

Millie recently divulged one of her main methods for making positive change in her life in an article for Grazia last month.

She uses ‘habit stacking’, meaning adding mindful and self-care activities alongside her daily routines, like swapping doom-scrolling with positive affirmations, brushing her body to help circulation as runs her bath, or integrating cold water plunges into her day.

She wrote: ‘2024 is most definitely my self-development era. Focusing on being the best version of myself, both mentally and physically.’
