A Melbourne-based model who is also a regular on a building site has shared what her day on a plate looks like.
Elyse Knowles, 24, told Ok! magazine that she doesn’t follow a strict diet to stay in shape.
‘I just eat healthy, raw produce with as many veggies and fruit as possible, with lots of fish,’ she explained.

Elyse took a break from her modelling career to appear on Australian television program The Block and due to the long days she had to ensure she was eating well.
A drink that has been playing a large part in the weight loss world is apple cider vinegar, which Elyse has every day before breakfast.
‘I have warm water with apple cider vinegar which gets everything flowing,’ Elyse told the magazine.

On top of this drink she makes sure to stay on top of her fluids so drinks water throughout the day.

Nevertheless it’s clear that she isn’t often the one to splurge as she admitted that her dessert option isn’t what most people would pick.
‘I either have lots of tea, frozen berries or a raw protein bowl. It depends how I feel.’

This being said she does occasionally treat herself, but typically saves it for the weekend.

The rest of her meals are nutritious choices to keep her fuelled for her busy schedule.
She told the magazine that after her apple cider drink she has a smoothie bowl for breakfast which is loaded with banana, blueberries, granola and nuts.

For her snack she will consume a natural dip with fresh vegetable sticks before moving onto a big grain salad for lunch.
Then for dinner Elyse often chooses roast veggies and ‘salmon [marinated] in tamari, ginger and chilli’.
Although she skipped her usual glamorous grooming and clothing for The Block, Elyse didn’t compromise on exercise and diet.

She told Body + Soul in May that she gets up at 5.15am most days of the week to go to the gym.
‘I work on my body every day. I am constantly working out, watching what I eat and drink, and making sure my brain is healthy too,’ Elyse said.
