Naga Munchetty cuts a chic figure in a teal jumpsuit as she returns to BBC Breakfast after golfing holiday in Scotland

Naga Munchetty put on a chic display as she strolled in Manchester city centre after returning to BBC Breakfast on Friday.

Though viewers were initially concerned about her absence, the presenter, 48, revealed she had taken some well-deserved time off, treating herself to a holiday in Scotland.

And making a statement return, Naga stunned in a teal jumpsuit, featuring a tie around her waist and three-quarter length zip.

She paired the stylish number with a black shoulder bag and a pair of white trainers.

Naga finished her ensemble with a pair of black sunglasses as she tried to keep a low profile in the Northern city. 

Earlier this week, Naga revealed the reason for her absence was because she had been spending time in Scotland.

Taking to Instagram, she shared a photo of her playing golf alongside a caption which read: ‘A week in my happy place.

‘Great fun, amazing weather and lots of golf to contend with.

‘Felt fabulous to be somewhere so peaceful and full of laughter with friends.

‘Even managed to fit in some running along the coast and course (and no, I didn’t run on the greens!) Can’t wait to be there again.’

It comes after Naga and Charlie Stayt were taken by surprise last month when a cheeky guest leaped on to their laps. 

During the show Naga, and Charlie were joined by Vicky Etherington from Apollo’s Angels and a dog name Hugo. 

But it seems as they sat down to discuss adopting pooches with Vicky, Hugo had other ideas.

While Naga gave him a stroke, he took the opportunity to leap over her knee and sit himself down in-between her and Charlie. 

‘There you go, he’s going his own way!’ Charlie exclaimed. 

‘This is Hugo, and he thinks he knows this is it,’ Naga said. 

Charlie then joked: ‘I think he’s trying to work out which camera is which,’ as he pointed out which one to look at. 

Viewers of the show were delighted at the sweet dog, with one posting: ‘Hugo squeezing himself between Naga and Charlie.’

Another added: ‘He took over sat in the middle wasn’t gonna stand for the side lol his so cute x’.

‘By the way Naga – watching the dog sitting between Charlie and yourself this morning was beyond cute!’ a third wrote. 

One fan shared: ‘@TVNaga01 I’ve just seen Hugo the dog and it’s put a smile on my face. He clearly liked you & when he climbed over you to get to Charlie too, I ahhhhed & smiled even bigger.
