Natalie Portman and husband Benjamin Millepied inspect a $3million mansion in rural New South Wales

Natalie Portman’s stay in Australia may be more permanent than previously reported.

The 39-year-old actress, who recently relocated to Sydney to film the new Marvel film Thor: Love and Thunder, was spotted house hunting with her husband Benjamin Millepied, 43, in rural New South Wales on Monday.

The couple were seen arriving at a $3million rustic mansion in the Hunter Region of New South Wales before embarking upon a guided tour with an agent.

They pulled up to the grassy site in a white Audi, parked outside and made their way through the long grass towards the property on foot.

Natalie dressed for comfort in white denim cut-off shorts and a black jumper, while her husband wore a blue-and-white printed T-shirt and black jeans.

The pair both protected their eyes from the autumnal glare by wearing sunglasses for the outing.
