NBA Finals: Tristan Thompson shoves ball in face of Warriors player

Tristan Thompson skirmished with the Golden State Warriors after being ejected on Thursday from Game One of the NBA Finals in Oakland, California.

The 27-year-old center for the Cleveland Cavaliers was sent to the locker room by officials with 2.6 seconds remaining in overtime.

Thompson and reality star girlfriend Khloe Kardashian, 33, welcomed their daughter True last month amid a cheating scandal.

A source recently told Us Weekly that Tristan was fatigued from the scandal and being in the NBA playoffs.

‘Tristan is completely emotionally and physically exhausted from the cheating allegations and of course the playoffs,’ the insider said. ‘He is focused on the winning a championship for Cleveland.’

He started the game and scored two points in 20 minutes of action with five rebounds and one block.

The defending champion Warriors after benefitting from an error by Cavs player J.R. Smith in regulation raced to a lead in overtime.

Warriors guard Shaun Livingston attempted a late shot that Tristan contested with a high elbow.

A referee immediately tossed Tristan from the game and he was mocked by Warriors player Draymond Green who clapped at his departure.

He marched off the court chewing his mouthpiece after being tossed and was assessed with a flagrant foul penalty 2 for his in-play foul on the shooter, which calls for immediate ejection.

The Warriors won the game at Oracle Arena 124-114 to take a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.

It is the fourth straight year that the Cavaliers and Warriors have met in the NBA Finals.

Game One also drew Jon Hamm, Jeremy Renner and Jesse Jackson.

LeBron James delivered a brilliant 51-point performance in the losing effort while Stephen Curry scored 29 points.

Regulation ended in stunning fashion as George Hill made the first of two free throws with 4.7 seconds left after being fouled by Klay Thompson.

J.R. Smith secured the rebound of the second, but blundered when he dribbled back toward halfcourt instead of shooting, apparently thinking the Cavs had a lead.

The mistake sent the game into overtime with both teams tied 107-107.

Lebron jawed with Stephen and Klay near the end of the game before Tristan tangled with Draymond.

Game 2 will be played on Sunday night at Oracle Arena.

Khloe has been living in Tristan’s lakefront Ohio home ever since she welcomed True over a month ago.

It’s been added the two stars have been fighting constantly.

‘She doesn’t know how she’s going to rebuild trust in him,’ an insider told Us Weekly earlier this month month. ‘She knows her family and friends aren’t supporting him or her right now.’

The siren posted a snap of the child to Snapchat with a bunny filter, adding the child was about to turn seven weeks old.

The beauty was left heartbroken in April when DailyMail.com released video footage of the 27-year-old basketball player seemingly kissing another woman on a night out in New York City just weeks before she gave birth to their daughter True.

A source told People : ‘She’s definitely more needy and in his face now. This has been causing some conflicts.’

And, although she’s trying to deal with Tristan’s infidelity in private, Khloe took to her Twitter account over the weekend to slam those who are not happy for her.
