Nearly-toothless woman, 61, BITES home intruder when he forces his way into her home and tells him ‘I’m not your mama; Get out of my house’

  • She was able to bite him – despite not only a few teeth – and he locked himself in 
  • Ms Coleman was able to flee to a neighbors and call police – who arrested him 

A nearly toothless South Florida woman has revealed how she bit a man who forced his way into her apartment.

Alice Coleman, 61, said she woke up early on Monday morning to a fire alarm going off. 

She says that when she opened the door, a man, Fitzroy Morton, pushed his way inside.

‘He was telling me, ”No, mama. Everything gon’ be all right,” Coleman said. 

‘Everything’s not going to be all right. I’m not your mama. I don’t know who you are. Get out of my house.

Alice Coleman, 61, from South Florida, said she bit the man after he barged into her house 

‘I was able to bite him. And I didn’t even have my teeth in my mouth like now. 

‘My brother say, ‘How did you bite him?’ I said, ‘With the little teeth I got, I bit him.’ 

Coleman says she ran out of the apartment and he locked himself inside to get away from her. 

She called police from a neighbor’s house.

They arrested Morton on three felony charges. Jail records don’t list a lawyer for him.

Coleman says she’ll be more careful about opening her door now, adding she will open it with her Taser.

Morton has been denied bond and is currently in the Broward County Jail.
