Neighbours star Bonnie Anderson lists five-bedroom Melbourne home on the market for $1.8million after renovation

Australian actress Bonnie Anderson and her husband Samuel Morrison have listed their stylish and renovated Melbourne property on the market for $1.8m.

The former Neighbours star, 30, purchased the Mornington Peninsula weatherboard property in 2021 and spent the past three years significantly renovating it.

The two-storey house features stylish contemporary architecture including spacious rooms, high ceilings, sturdy timber flooring, a sizable balcony and an outdoor pool.

It is located in the tourist hotspot suburb of Rye and is close to a variety of amenities and jaw-dropping scenic views, making it the perfect home for small families.

Bonnie described to Realestate.com.au some of the extensive renovation work they had undertaken on it, explaining, ‘We really changed the whole thing.

‘We added the downstairs area and opened the stairs right up. We just created a more free flowing space with lots of light and open living areas.’

She continued: ‘I love its oak surfaces and all the windows throughout the home. Hearing the ocean roar at night time is also one of my favourite sounds about living there.’

The property is expected to generate a lot of interest from potential buyers, due to its unique look and desirable location.

The lovebirds have listed it on the market with a price guide of $1,725,000 to $1,825,000.

That makes the home slightly more costly than the average property value in the area.

The picturesque home, described as having a ‘quirky charm’, features five bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The bathrooms come complete with a freestanding bath and subfloor heating for those chilly winters.

One of the upstairs bedrooms leads onto a balcony with great views.

Selling agent Adam Vocale from Jellis Craig Rye said their restoration work added significant value to the home.

‘There’s a difference in houses that have been done up for sale versus those that have been done to live in,’ Vocale began.

‘This property will see demand from people who want a finished product as opposed to something you have to do yourself.’

Bonnie portrayed Bea Nilsson on Neighbours from 2018 to 2021, won The Masked Singer in 2020, and is currently a presenter on Channel Nine’s lifestyle program Postcards.

In November 2023, Bonnie married landscaper Samuel Morrison, and the couple shares a one-year-old son, Bobby Ray.
