Neighbours star Xavier Molyneux teases ‘raunchy’ storylines on the soap – as the former paramedic lands first ever film role

Xavier Molyneux’s career is soaring to new heights.

Just five years ago he was a Sydney paramedic, and now the 26-year-old has landed his first movie role.

The actor, who joined Neighbours last year, stars in the film Take My Hand, which debuted last month.

He has also teased upcoming racy storylines for his soap character, Byron Stone.

‘There’s a bit of a raunchy storyline. I’m excited to see that one going to air’ he told The Daily Telegraph.

‘There was a lot of effort put in behind it. They brought in people who specialise in that type of performance.’

Xavier says that his rise to fame has been ‘very exciting and very daunting’.

‘There’s a lot of impostor syndrome going on. Being an actor was always a pipe dream” he admitted to the publication.

The star first became known for appearing on reality series Big Brother Australia back in 2020.

He was also Australia’s Got Talent in 2019 – but fans may not immediately remember the aspiring musician’s appearance on the reality TV contest.

Footage that aired last July from the show’s 14th season shows Xavier on stage with host Ricki-Lee Coulter.

Xavier, working as a paramedic, was side of stage with Ricki-Lee to provide emergency assistance if a death-defying stunt went wrong.

He was one of nine housemates left vying for the $250,000 cash prize on Big Brother in 2020.
