A game to decide the winner of the AFC South has been moved to the NFL’s Saturday slate on the last week of the regular season.

The NFL announced that the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders and the matchup featuring the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars have been moved to their slate for Saturday, January 7.

Chiefs-Raiders is set to take place at 4:30pm ET and Titans-Jaguars will kick off around 8:15 with both games being played on ESPN.

While the Chiefs-Raiders game carries no importance to the playoffs, the same cannot be said for Titans-Jaguars.

The 7-9 Titans had been leading the AFC South for a majority of the season until the Jaguars caught up and then passed them – currently holding an 8-8 record.

This game will be the decider for the division title – with the winner taking the fourth seed in the AFC playoffs and getting home field advantage against the five seed in the Wild Card round.

A loss for the Titans would spell the end of their season, but the Jaguars could lose and still find a way to make it in.

If Jacksonville falls on Saturday night, they’d also need the Patriots, Dolphins, and Steelers to lose in order to clinch the seventh spot and the final AFC Wild Card.

As for the rest of the games set to take place this weekend, the NFL will announce the times for the remaining 14 games after Monday’s game between the Bengals and Bills has concluded.
