And on Monday, model Ella penned: ‘We are so excited to announce to the world that @babyadamsadventures has arrived.

‘The first moment we laid eyes on you we felt an instant love and the strongest bond. We went to the moon and back to get you and we can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives watching you grow ❤️#babyboy #twomoms #twomums.’

The baby already has its own Instagram account and as well as the first picture, the couple also shared a picture of them in the delivery room.

In May, Ella hit back at trolls after she shared sweet pictures of her baby bump last month.

The model took to Instagram to post snaps of herself in a grey dress cradling her blossoming bump as she criticised online trolls for their hateful comments about her pregnancy.

In a lengthy caption, Ella said she and her former boxer girlfriend often see comments about how their baby isn’t really theirs because its ‘biologically impossible’.

Ella hit back at the ‘cruel’ trolls, asking why people couldn’t just be happy knowing that their baby will be loved, rather than questioning them for using IVF and a sperm donor.

The couple, who have been together for four years, conceived after their fourth round of IVF, having started their fertility treatment in 2019.

In her Instagram post, Ella said she was aware that her and Nicola couldn’t have had a child without medical intervention, but said people’s harsh comments were the reason there was a stigma surrounding IVF.

She wrote: ‘See lots of comments about how this isn’t ‘our’ child because that’s ‘biologically’ impossible and we’re not the parents… we all know that we couldn’t have done this without medical intervention, trust me I know.

‘But it makes me think this is why there’s such an issue surrounding IVF and fertility because people are so cruel. Just because a child isn’t biologically yours and wasn’t created ‘naturally’ that doesn’t mean it’s not your child!

‘Why can’t people just be happy knowing the child will be loved and was wanted.’

Ella also hit out at people for giving her and Ella a ‘hard time’ when there are fathers that don’t ‘stick around to do the work’ as parents, comparing absent fathers to sperm donors.

‘Too many children come into this world with so called parents that are nothing more than donors… not parents. But we’re given a hard time?!’ she said.

‘That’s a donor same as all the men out here making babies and not sticking around to do the work! You guys really need to learn the difference.’

Ella spoke about needing a C-section instead of a natural birth when she appeared on Loose Woman with Strictly star Nicola in April.

On the chat show, Ella – who says she ‘always wanted to carry their child’ – said she hoped to ‘bounce back’ quite quickly following the birth.

She told the ITV panel: ‘It’s been a few years. We went through 3 IVF cycles. We had one failed, one miscarriage and one baby.

‘I’m in the second trimester now, so past the hard bit. Unfortunately I had very very bad morning sickness.’

She added: ‘It was brutal. It was funny smells and sick. I was really worried. I kept asking “are you sure you wanna try again” and worried it was too soon, but luckily it’s all fine.’

Nicola admitted she ‘didn’t realise how IVF was seen outside of sport’ after believing people did it purely ‘so they can focus on their job’.

The ex-boxer froze her eggs during her career as an elite sportswomen, using one to impregnate Ella with the help of a sperm donor.

She explained: ‘Yeah. I was recommended to [freeze my eggs]. I didn’t realise how much or how IVF is seen outside of the sports perspective.

‘I support every woman in every business and career. I just thought that a lot of people just did that so they can concentrate on their work.’

The smitten couple recently did a gender reveal which involved displaying a blue and pink paint splattered canvas before they pealed back letters to uncover the words, ‘It’s a boy!’.

Explaining the idea behind the reveal, Ella said: ‘We were sort of hesitant about doing one because it’s controversial in the LGBTQ+ community.

‘We tried to do it to raise awareness of gender sterotypes so started with pink and blue and destroyed all that when we revealed it was a boy.’

The parents to be also described the process of picking a sperm donor ‘like shopping’.

Ella said: ‘You get to see a baby photo and lots of information about them. It’s literally like shopping.’

When asked by the Loose Women if they hope to have more children, the model said: ‘We are planning but keeping it out of mind for now.’

Nicola also revealed how she has taken up acting despite hoping their little boy will want to box.

She said: ‘Yeah definitely, there’ll be a lot of pressure.  I’m working on my acting career now though. It was one of my passions alongside boxing.

‘Now I’ve got the opportunity to do that now. I’m doing classes, self-tapes. It’s going really well.’
