Odell Beckham Jr’s week has got even better after signing for the Baltimore Ravens.

Now, he has received a ruling from a judge that keeps his claim against about an alleged breach of contract alive.

TMZ Sports have reported that a judge in Oregon has denied the request from Nike, filed on February 28, to throw out the case because there were no grounds for Beckham’s claims.

It was first reported back in November that Beckham launched a lawsuit worth $20million after claiming, Nike payments for footwear and glove sales.

A statement released at the time from Beckham said: ‘Unfortunately, Nike did not honor its commitments.

‘Throughout our partnership, I have kept my promise and fulfilled my obligations to the brand. I am extremely disappointed that I’ve had to take these measures to ensure Nike fulfills their obligations and promises.

‘Today, I’m taking a stand not just for me, but to set a precedent for all athletes who have dedicated their life to the sport they love – especially those who don’t have the means to stand up for themselves.

‘We are held responsible for fulfilling our obligations under our contracts, but we also have to hold powerful companies like Nike accountable for honoring their commitments too.’

Beckham was unveiled as a Baltimore Ravens player this week where, if he stays, the wider receiver will link up with Lamar Jackson at quarterback.

After missing 2022 with an ACL injury, the 30-year-old has signed a one-year deal worth $15million.

Beckham said he has no assurances over Jackson about his Ravens future.

‘You know life’s uncertain,’ Beckham said at his introductory press conference in Baltimore on Thursday. ‘I think that we don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow, or the next day. We only know what’s happened in the past.’
