Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow came back to haunt his former side while Jamayne Isaako bagged himself his first NRL hat trick to give Wayne Bennett’s side a 12-26 lead in Townsville.
Todd Payten’s side have endured a slow start to the new season, having secured a surprise preliminary finals spot last year, and concerned fans believe that their season is already over after just six rounds.
‘Who is this team in 2023?’ one fan asked. ‘Did they train in the off season?’
‘That’s game and the season to be honest,’ another said.
