Actress and comedian Gina Riley is best known for playing spoiled daughter Kim Craig in the popular Australian sitcom Kath & Kim.
And the notoriously private star, 59, resurfaced over the Christmas holidays when she was pictured in a rare family photo on Instagram.
Gina, who tends to keep her private life off social media, posed alongside her husband, producer Rick McKenna, and their daughter, actress Maggie McKenna.

Maggie, 21, who is making waves in the musical theatre world, shared a photo of herself with her parents over the Christmas break.
The picture was later reposted to a Kath & Kim Facebook fan page, called Da Kath & Kim Appreciation Society.
In the image, a smiling Gina shows off her lighter hair as she poses in a blue patterned dress, a long cardigan and green sneakers.

She looks worlds away from her character on the show, Kim, who is known for her long brunette hair, gaudy makeup and ‘hornbag’ fashion.
‘Oh haaii… Gina Riley is now rocking the grey/silver hair better than Trude,’ one fan commented on the photo, referring to Gina and Jane’s other characters in the show, snooty store clerks Prue and Trude.
The image clearly thrilled fans, gaining more than 800 likes.

Kath & Kim, which ran on the ABC and Channel Seven from 2002 to 2007, also starred Jane Turner, Glenn Robbins, Magda Szubanski and Peter Rowsthorn.
The sitcom produced two spin-off movies: Da Kath & Kim Code (2005) and Kath and Kimderella (2012).
In September 2018, Magda and Jane spoke about the possibility of a reboot, but admitted it would need to be modernised to reflect the current trends and culture.

‘Never say never,’ Magda told TV Week,.
Jane, who co-created the series with Gina, added: ‘It would be very different now.’
‘There are always funny new trends and things Kath and Kim could put their spin on, which would be fun to do.’
