NRL WAG Terry Biviano is brutally roasted for her over-the-top posh accent on The Real Housewives of Sydney: ‘Does she really speak like that?’

Terry Biviano has been called out for her accent on The Real Housewives of Sydney.

The NRL WAG, 48, was roasted on social media after a clip from the reality show surfaced of her speaking with an ‘over-the-top’ posh accent.

In the video, the brunette sat alongside the other housewives as they were served caviar at a flashy Bondi Beach restaurant.

‘Can I ask for a favour? Do you have a seat for my bag?’ she asked the waitress.

Terry then placed her black Hermès Birkin bag on top of the seat.

Fans took to the comments to blast the star’s way of speaking as many were shocked with her accent.

‘Wonder if these ladies really speak like that,’ a fan wrote.

‘Does Terry really speak like that?’ asked another.

One user commented: ‘Seems so put on, she sounds like Trude and Prue from Kath and Kim.’

‘How funny is it seeing her hamming it up for TV,’ added one.

The shoe designer has been thrown into the spotlight after being cast in Binge’s The Real Housewives of Sydney reboot.

But Terry insists that fame isn’t the reason why she joined the popular reality franchise.

Speaking to Stellar magazine earlier this month, the glamorous wife of NRL star Anthony Minichiello said she signed up for the program so she could reveal her relatable, down-to-earth personality.

‘I’m definitely just like everyone else. I’m happiest when I’m at home having a pyjama day with my family,’ the wealthy socialite said.

Despite her flashy red carpet appearances, Terry added that she is actually quite introverted.

She also described her previous stint on reality TV show WAG Nation back in 2012 as ‘overwhelming’, and noted that she and Anthony had turned town multiple offers to appear on other shows over the years.

‘We’re not the first ones to jump on an opportunity just to be famous,’ she says. ‘We don’t want that. That’s not what our life is about,’ she said.

The outrageous reality show was originally cancelled after its first season in 2017 for being ‘too mean’, but is now returning with a new cast, with Krissy Marsh and Nicole O’Neill the only returnees from the original iteration.

The Real Housewives of Sydney recently unveiled the cast’s official taglines ahead of the show’s reboot on Binge.

Leading the pack is NRL WAG Terry Biviano, who says: ‘My standards may be high, but the view is stunning.’

Real Housewives of Sydney is currently available to stream on Binge.
