  • The infant, who has not been named, has an injured foot  

A desperate search is underway for a missing one-year-old baby girl who needs urgent medical attention to her injured foot. 

The child was last seen at Concord Hospital, in Sydney’s inner west. 

NSW Police believe the little girl may be with her parents – father Sifa Talakai, 35, and mother Heilala Sulunga, 33, as well as a five-year-old child.

Officers have urged the parents to take the child to hospital, to prevent the foot becoming infected.  

In a statement, a NSW Police Force spokesperson said officers don’t know whether the family is driving or using public transport. 

Anyone who spots the little girl or her parents are urged to contact police immediately. 

The parents are understood to have several children.  

NSW Health has been approached for comment.
