A New Zealand mum with a striking resemblance to Game of Throne star Maisie Williams has spent the past 10 years being mistaken for the star.
Kaiya Kirk, a 30-year-old vet nurse, from Auckland bears an uncanny likeness to the actress who is best known for her breakout role as Arya Stark in the hit HBO television series.
Kaiya said she has had strangers point out her similarities to Arya Stark since 2011, when the series first appeared on screens.

‘I get told I look like Arya Stark more than Maisie Williams,’ she told Daily Mail Australia.
‘I think people in general associate lookalikes with characters rather then the actor themselves as that’s who they see them as,’ she said.
The vet nurse has never even seen the show and had to google the character when she was first told of the striking similarities.
But she admits she can see it as well.
‘I think we look a lot more alike when we were both younger. I feel like we have similar features like eyebrows and eyes,’ she said.

‘Sometimes it can be very annoying, I have a lot of people call me Arya which really bugs me because that’s not my name,’ she said, adding that she finds it entertaining most of the time.
‘My friends know not to call me Arya.’
Kaiya says she is always surprised by how many Game of Thrones fans there are in her country.
The more popular the show became, the more the young woman was stopped in the street.
Game of Thrones ended in 2019 – with 73 episodes aired over eight seasons. But the compliments and comparisons didn’t end with the series.
Maisie Williams, the actress behind the famous character, is 24, six years younger than her New Zealand based lookalike.

The Bristol-born actress is the youngest of four children, and landed her starring role in the hit HBO series when she was just 12 years old.
The star’s popularity has continued long after the television show finished.
She now has over 10 million followers on Instagram and is currently working on a six-piece series about the Sex Pistols where she will be portraying punk icon Pamela Rooke.
