Mums and dads said the ten hardest queries posed by kids aged five to 11 included: ‘where do babies come from?’, ‘why can’t I stay up as late as you?’ and ‘why do I have to do what you tell me?’

Three-quarters of the 1,500 parents surveyed said they often didn’t have enough general knowledge to answer questions.
Baby product company Munchkin, which conducted the poll, said: ‘It shows how naturally curious kids are about the world.’
