Live Traffic Sydney is urging commuters to use the Fairford Road or Henry Lawson Drive on-ramps to avoid the delays.

Pictures from the scene show the carnage of the wreckage, with the trailer and wheels lying on its side and debris piled across the road.

A NSW Police spokeswoman said traffic management was in place and no vehicles had hit the debris.
