People are shocked after seeing Game of Thrones Star’s childhood home

  • Rose Leslie, 36, lived in an incredible Scotland home until she was 10 years old
  • The location was home to members of the Clan Leslie for nearly 500 years

A jaw-dropping photo of the home Rose Leslie grew up in has amazed Reddit users since yesterday.

A viral Reddit post featured in the website’s pop culture chat community included a photo of a beautiful castle that is Leslie’s childhood home.

Born and raised in Scotland, the Game of Thrones actress, 36, lived in Lickleyhead Castle with her family until she was 10 years old.

Despite members of a Lowland Scottish Clan living in the castle for nearly 500 years, the castle was repossessed in 2018 from Leslie’s father.

The castle was eventually sold to owners who are not likely members of the Clan and appears to be well taken care of.

Leslie is the daughter of Candida Mary Sibyl and Sebastian Arbuthnot-Leslie, who is a member of the Clan Leslie.

Leslie’s parents moved back into the castle in 2016 after failing to sell it three years before and began offering it as an Airbnb later that year.

Despite being a popular trip stay, the family were not able to make loan payments, leading to its repossession.

The entire castle was sold for more than $820,000 in 2019 and is currently available to rent on Airbnb.
