They may travel in different circles, but Peter Andre has come to the defence of Hollywood heartthrob Leonardo DiCaprio.
With the Mysterious Girl singer, 50, comparing the actor’s age-gap romances to his own marriage to wife Emily MacDonagh, 33 – declaring ‘age doesn’t matter’.
It comes after the Hollywood actor, 48, hit back at claims that he was dating Love Island’s Maya Jama, 28, after they were introduced by mutual friends.
Leo denied the new string of rumours after a source told the The Sun that the Titanic star- who has also been linked to Gigi Hadid, 27 – and the British beauty ‘are in regular contact and have been on a string of dates’.
Taking to his OK! column Peter wrote: ‘Although [Maya Jama is] 28, 20 years his junior, you can’t help but admit that Leo looks awesome,’
‘As you all know, Emily and I have been together for nearly 11 years and have known each other for 13 years’.
‘Even though she is younger than me, I don’t think age matters as we are so happy together!’.

Peter married doctor Emily in 2015 and they share children Amelia, nine, and Theo, six, as well Peter’s kids Junior, 17, and Princess, 15, from his relationship with Katie Price.
The family man last year revealed he has plans to move to Australia with his wife and their children as his mother Thea’s health deteriorates.
However the Mysterious Girl hitmaker revealed he is struggling to arrange the trip due to his children’s school arrangements.
He revealed that the ‘whole family’ will be making the trip down under.
Writing in his new! magazine column, Peter said: ‘If it all goes to plan, it’ll be December and we’ll all be going to Oz as a family.
‘We want to get out there as soon as we can and stay for as long as possible, but it’s tricky with the kids’ school.’
‘They have different timings, which makes it complicated.’
On Monday Maya was pictured wearing a gold ‘Leo’ further fuelling romance rumours with the actor – but not all was as it seemed.

The television personality looked incredible in a striped bikini for the photo has been enjoying some down time after the hit ITV show came to an end last month.
She put on a very busty display in a red and blue patterned bikini top, while accessorising with a straw hat.
Maya sported a glam makeup look with a swipe of nude lipstick, while her brunette tresses were styled in loose curls.
Despite the link to Leonardo, Maya’s star sign is actually Leo.
Maya’s birthday is August 14, making her star sign Leo.
It comes after an insider told The Sun that Maya had been dating Leo, they said: ‘They have both recently come out of long-term relationships so neither of them are rushing into anything — they are having fun and seeing how it goes.’
The duo reportedly spent time in New York last month, where they were both for work. They were also pictured leaving the Le Piaf club in Paris last month with friends.
‘They live in different countries and Maya has had a long distance relationship before and knows it’s tough, so they are taking things a day at a time. Leo has certainly been wooing her though, he loves spending time with her,’ the source added.

Back in February of this year, the two were spotted partying together in London on two different nights, during BAFTAs weekend.
The Oscar winner was most recently rumoured to be dating model Gigi Hadid, 27, though their reported romance ‘fizzled out’.
The two reignited the dating rumours last month, as they were both seen at the same Oscars afterparty – Beyonce and Jay-Z’s bash at the legendary Chateau Marmont.
Before that, Leo was in a five-year-long relationship with model Camila Morrone, 25, with whom he split from last year.
Among some of the other famous women Leo has been linked to are Gisele Bundchen, Bar Refaeli, Blake Lively, Erin Heatherton, Toni Garrn, and Nina Agdal.
Meanwhile, Maya recently ended her long-distance engagement to NBA star Ben Simmons , 26, last year, after a year together.
Prior to that she had a four-year relationship with British rapper Stormzy, 29.
