In some cases, sufferers can even go into anaphylactic shock which can be life-threatening.

The Pot Noodles are being taken off shelves by Unilever as a precaution and no one has yet reported having an allergic reaction, according to The Sun.

The affected pots have a batch code of L9282 and a best before date of July 2020 which can be found on the rim of the pot.

If you or someone you know has a celery or mustard allergy, you should check the pack before eating it.

In a recall notice on the Food Standards Agency’s website, it says: ‘As the safety of the people that buy and use our products is always our number one priority, we are taking the voluntary precaution of recalling this batch as it could pose a health risk for people with allergies.
