Pregnant Chrissy poses with John at Clive Davis bash

Clive Davis and The Recording Academy threw their Pre-Grammy Gala and Grammy Salute To Industry Icons in New York City’s Sheraton Times Square on Saturday.

Chrissy Teigen was a scene-stealing presence on the red carpet, draping her baby bump in a sheer, lacy gown that fell off her shoulders and featured a swirling nude and silver design.

The 32-year-old Sports Illustrated model posed on the arm of her tuxedo-clad husband John Legend, by whom she also has a one-year-old daughter named Luna.

Chrissy’s dress was sheer enough to serve up a view of her enviably toned legs, and its hem extended far enough to turn into a small train that dragged behind her on the red carpet.

Smiling for the cameras, she placed a hand on her bulging belly.

John, an Academy Award-winner who married Chrissy back in 2013, stuck to a classic look – a checked tuxedo with a black bow-tie, black dress shoes and a pristine white dress shirt.

Priyanka Chopra was also a showstopper on the carpet, offering a glimpse of her lacy black bra beneath an open white blazer that dripped with fringe.

The 35-year-old matched the jacket with a pair of loose-fitting high-waisted trousers that spilled down to obscure her open-toed shoes when she stood still.

Priyanka – whose showbiz accolades include five Filmfare Awards and a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadorship – accessorized with a pair of necklaces.

The Bodak Yellow rapper’s hairdo was an immaculate bob with fringe.

Katie Holmes went for a simple look, betraying only the slightest hint of cleavage in a full-sleeved coral gown with pale pink stripes running down it.

Her short hair – which she told People she’s had cut for her role in The Doorman – was tucked behind one ear but allowed to flow over the other.

Another erstwhile singing group member – one who has struck out to become a solo artist as well – is Camila Cabello, who also swung by Saturday night’s party.

Camila, who became a recognizable name via Fifth Harmony and whose departure went public in December 2016, wore a black split gown with a train and a plunging neckline trimmed with frills.

Sting’s outfit had various shades of dark blue, though his slender print scarf was black and white. He had arrived at the fete with his wife of a quarter-century, Trudie Styler.

Whilst on the carpet, the Soul Cake singer got in a bit of hobnobbing with his fellow singer Shaggy, who wore a black suit with a black tie and a white dress shirt.

Shaggy was attending the pre-Grammy party with his wife Rebecca Packer, whom he married in 2014; the pair were snapped as a couple standing beside Sting and Trudie.

Another musical icon who headed to the Sheraton on Saturday was Andrew Lloyd Webber, the composer of the colossally successful musicals Cats and The Phantom Of The Opera, who recently renounced his peerage.

Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall of The Chainsmokers both wore splashily colorful suits, leaving the top buttons of their dress shirts open and foregoing ties for the occasion.

Ne-Yo cut a dapper figure, matching his black dress shirt to his bowler hat and buttoning himself into a suit that jauntily had black star patterns on a maroon field.

Martha Stewart had wrapped herself in an elegant fur coat – which was presumably faux, considering she forswore real fur in a 2012 video for PETA.

Draping on a couple of beaded necklaces, the legendary TV personality – who now hosts a cookery show with Snoop Dog – teamed a glistening white skirt with an off-white blouse.

Ivana Trump’s dress featured a neckline that fell low enough to expose a bit of midriff, and its general motif was of leafy navy patterns flecked over a nude field.

The first of Donald Trump’s three wives, her blonde hair was in its signature beehive – the forerunner of that hairdo on Absolutely Fabulous’ Patsy Stone – and she wore a bright pink shade of lipstick.

True Grit Oscar nominee Hailee Steinfeld flashed a bit of leg from her heavily pleated fiery orange skirt, which fell to the floor but featured a vertiginous thigh slit.

Matching her dress to her lipstick, she slid herself into a turtlenecked sleeveless top in a lighter shade of pink and let her wavy brown hair fall freely over her shoulders.

Rita Ora showed a penchant for a bit of fringe as well, slipping into a translucently lacy dress with a hem faintly reminiscent of the flapper era.

Balancing on glinting stilettos, the 27-year-old singer had swept her hair up and decorated it with an elaborate white headpiece.

Model Winnie Harlow – who has vitiligo, the skin condition made famous by Michael Jackson – flaunted her slender figure in a see-through black dress that hung open at the front to reveal her bra.

Keltie Knight flashed a bit of midriff in an orange split gown, whilst Debra L. Lee arrived in an alternately black and sheer cocktail dress and Dua Lipa flung a fuzz-trimmed coat over a nightie-esque mini-dress.

Model Jourdan Dunn’s off-the-shoulder gown was a bubblegum pink, adorned with a white leafy vine motif that matched her precipitous stilettos.

Arcing her enviably svelte right leg out from the thigh-slit of her outfit, she stood for the cameras beside fashion designer Zac Posen, who wore a three-piece suit with a bow-tie.

Julia Michaels wore a black and nude mini-dress with a palm frond motif and snappy white cuffs, while Faith Evans donned an intricately designed robe-like dress with a fringed hem.

Wearing a midnight blue suit with a pale grey pocket square and a black dress shirt, basketball player Chris Bosh towered over his wife Adrienne Williams Bosh as they stood for photos.

Kathie Lee Gifford, hostess of the fourth hour of Today, showed her svelte frame to advantage in a figure-hugging off-the-shoulder powder pink gown with sleeves that ended just below the elbow.

A tangle of necklaces added a bit of personality to the look, and her heavy makeup went well with the dress.

Hoda Kotb, who used to co-hostess the fourth hour of Today with Kathie Lee but who has been tapped to replace the disgraced Matt Lauer, hit Saturday’s red carpet with her financier boyfriend Joel Schiffman.

Katie Couric, her blonde hair in its typical bob, looked casual in an outfit that consisted of a black top with a bit of off-white fringe at the hem, black trousers and open-toed heels.

News anchor Don Lemon and his boyfriend Tim Malone mirrored each other, having each put on a suit that assembled a color combination of black, blue and white.

Darren Criss, who is currently appearing as serial killer Andrew Cunanan in FX’s The Assassination Of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, beamed as he modeled a black suit with a black and white spotted tie.

Casablanca Records co-owner Tommy Mottola, who is 68 and used to be married to Mariah Carey, arrived on the arm of his third and current wife Thalia, who is 46 and married him in 2000.

Thalia stressed her curves in a navy jumpsuit, which was spattered with a few elaborately colorful bits of design. Similar designs decorated her open-toed stilettos.

P Diddy, who had turned up with his longtime girlfriend Cassie Ventura, looked quite the dandy, wearing not only a suit and bow-tie but also an elegant matching coat flung over his shoulders.

The celebrity-strewn evening was a family affair for Diddy, who had brought along two of his five children – his 24-year-old son Justin and 19-year-old son Christian.

Cassie, Diddy, Christian and Justin all posed as a group with French Montana, who’d livened up his head-to-toe black outfit with a few thick chain necklaces.

French Montana also posed for a photo whilst flanked by Justin and Christian.

Luis Fonsi, the Puerto Rican singer who crooned Despacito with Daddy Yankee, smiled radiantly as he posed alongside his leggy Spanish model girlfriend Agueda Lopez, who in heels rather dwarfed him.

Tommy Hilfiger, 66, modeled a tuxedo and a black bow-tie as he stood for the cameras on the arm of that 51-year-old second wife of his, Dee.

Though the tuxedo was otherwise a dull maroon, it featured black lapels, complementing his tie and his shining pair of dress shoes.

Meanwhile, his blonde spouse wore a sweater dress that read: ‘LOVE SEES NO COLOUR’ in white text over a rainbow striped backdrop.

This dress was cut off at around mid-thigh, allowing for a full view of the Cleveland-born Dee’s sparkling thigh-high silver-toned boots.

She carried a purse made to look like a serving of French fries.

Bebe Rexha played up her derriere in an intricately lacy black dress, which was frequently sheer and which had a cleavage-baring sloping neckline, as well as cuffs that spilled past her wrists.

She was photographed standing on the red carpet beside Shawn Mendes, who leaned in beside her as he posed in a black outfit with a gold lip motif on the shirt.

Kristin Cavallari exuded a simple glamour in a floor-length color-blocked black and white gown, whereas Gayle draped an ornate set of necklaces over a split scarlet dress.

Songwriter Ryan Hurd, who penned the Blake Shelton and Ashley Monroe duet Lonely Tonight, stared unsmiling at the camera as he stood beside his fiancée Maren Morris.

La La Anthony was striking in massive hoop earrings and a cleavage-baring sequined gown that featured intricate designs in gold, bronze, silver and black shades.

Pink layered heavily, pulling a fuzzy scarlet jacket over a thinner crimson coat, which in turn she had worn over a floor-length red gown that she accessorized with drop earrings.

Posing beside her was her husband Carey Hart, who has gone from being a motorcycle racer to an off-road truck racer, and with whom Pink has had two children.

The charming pair were seen gazing affectionately at each other as the cameras snapped away at them.

Bleoni Qereti had pulled on a flared-out strapless mini-dress with red checks and florals on a salmon field, while Tamron Hall glowed in a nearly ankle-length red gown and matching fuzzy coat.

Affecting a classic look in a suit, coat, sunglasses and fedora, Jimmy Jam posed alongside his wife Lisa Padilla, as well as Bella and Tyler Harris, who are two of their three children.
