Pregnant Princess Beatrice dresses her baby bump in a £340 Self Portrait dress at Wimbledon

Pregnant Princess Beatrice could be seen lovingly cradling her baby bump as she and husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi arrived at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships in London today.

The mother-to-be, 32, who is expecting her first child with Italian property developer Edoardo, looked radiant in a £340 black and white polka dot dress by Self Portrait that skimmed over her blossoming bump on what marked her first official pregnancy engagement.

Beatrice, who wore her auburn locks down, accessorised with a basket bag and could be seen putting safety first by donning a red and pink floral patterned face mask in adherence to government guidelines in a bid to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

The couple, who are attending day ten of the tennis competition, are in for a fun-filled day of action with the four remaining players in the ladies’ singles battling it out for a place in the final – including Barty plays Kerber.

Meanwhile, Edoardo looked effortlessly cool in a dapper navy blue suit which he paired with a crisp white shirt, adding a pair of circular sunglasses to complete the look.

Beatrice and Edoardo, who shares son Wolfie with his ex Dara Huang, announced they were expecting their first child together on May 19.

The baby is due this autumn. Beatrice’s younger sister Eugenie welcomed a son, August, in February.

It comes just weeks after Princess Beatrice prompted speculation on the gender of her baby after she stepped out with a pink soft toy and pink face mask for a meal out with friends.

The royal clutched the stuffed rabbit toy as she arrived for dinner with girlfriends at 5 Hertford Street, in upmarket Mayfair.

The royal also wore a baby pink face mask embroidered with a bee topped with a crown – a nod to her nickname and royal status.

The royal was holding the fluffy pink rabbit on her way into the restaurant but kept it well hidden behind her back on the way out, according to an onlooker.

Beatrice keeps a low profile and largely stays off social media. However she did appear in a video last month to launch Parallel Windsor, a running event that celebrates disability inclusion. This year it was held virtually.

She said: ‘I am so excited to welcome everyone at Parallel Windsor 2021. What an incredible, historic place for an event such as this. I know that I’ve spent a lot of time walking and running around these incredible grounds. So I hope you have the best time.

‘Whether you have chosen to do the 10k, 5k, 1k or even 100 metres, this event is an amazing celebration of disability inclusion.”

‘This year has been an incredibly challenging year, but for those with disabilities it has left people feeling isolated and alone. So, I am so thrilled that this event is taking place in order to bring people together.

‘And I’d just like to thank every single one of you for taking part, and I’d like to thank the organisers and the events team for making this possible, especially during these unprecedented times. So have fun, have the best time and remember, start together and finish whenever – this moment is for you.’
