Russell Brand: The four disturbing words comedian told an Australian woman in LA before he allegedly cornered her in a bathroom and exposed himself

An Australian woman has told how Russell Brand allegedly cornered her in a bathroom and said ‘I’m going to f*** you’ before flashing his penis in her face – and then boasting about it moments later on the BBC.

Rachel, who works in the TV industry, encountered Brand in Los Angeles when the comedian was visiting her office complex to record a radio show for the BBC in June 2008.

She claims she answered the door and let Brand and his entourage into the building where they were met by a BBC producer.

Fifteen minutes later, she passed the studio where they were recording on her way to the bathroom to source medication for a sinus issue.

‘I opened up a cupboard where the first aid kit was kept along with our medicines and when I turned around there was a groin in front of me,’ the woman told 60 Minutes.

Brand had allegedly followed her into the bathroom.

‘What are you doing in here?,’ she recalled asking him.

‘And he goes, “oh, you’re a bit of alright, aren’t you, you’re a bit alright’.

He allegedly told her he would call her ‘Betty’.

‘I said “but that’s not my name” and he said “I’m going to f*** you” and I went “no, you’re not” and he went “yeah, I am”.

‘Before you know it, his penis was on his hand and he was pretty much serving it to me as you would a dish or as you would serve someone some food.’

Rachel, which is a pseudonym to protect her identity, said Brand repeatedly told her he would ‘f***’ her.

She was saved by a knock at the door calling Brand back into the studio.

Russell Brand jokes on air about ‘exposing himself to a woman 25 minutes ago’ – the full remarks

Brand: Also, Lucy Lawless, the Xena: Warrior Princess actress and also star of Bedtime Stories, the film I’m doing, is coming down.

She’ll surprise you, Matt, because you’d think the actress playing Xena: Warrior Princess, you’d think: ‘Oh, she’ll be a nice bit of crumpet, dolly bird, you know, bit daft, nothing between her ears, lovely knockers’…she’s rough as horse muck. (laughs)

No, she’s smart as a whip, she’s bright as a button.

Morgan: Have you got a crush on her?

Brand: Sort of but like, you know where it’s a woman where you respect them or something?

Morgan: Why, because she’s a bit in control of herself?

Brand: In control of herself…

Morgan: Not the ones you like!

Brand: Oh no, this won’t do. I won’t be able to drag her off into a cubicle and show her my pubicles, that would never do.

Morgan: How long ago did you do that last?

Brand: It’s been a long while, Matt, since old Russy Brand…

Morgan: (interjecting) It’s been 25 minutes since he showed his willy to a lady.

Brand: (laughing) Very easy to judge! Very easy to judge!

Morgan: The receptionist…

Brand: (laughing) Look…

Morgan: Receive this!

Brand: How am I supposed to ring that little bell? With my finger?

Morgan: He got told off for ringing a bell. Minutes later he was showing his willy. As a form of excuse for his behaviour – ‘See, look, this is what I’m hung with!’

Shaken and upset by the ordeal, she texted the BBC producer to tell him what happened.

To her horror, he allegedly responded: ‘Yes I know, he’s talking about it on air.’

Just minutes into the pre-recorded show with fellow comedian Matt Morgan, Brand started bragging about exposing himself to Rachel.

‘I won’t be able to drag her off into a cubicle and show her my pubicles, that would never go,’ joked Brand.

Morgan asks him: ‘How long ago did you do that last?’

Brand claims it’s ‘been a long while’, Morgan interjects: ‘Just 25 minutes since he showed his willy to a lady… to a receptionist.’

Incredibly, the segment was reportedly broadcast by the BBC.

‘What I’m struggling with when I look back [is] how no one ever called me,’ said Rachel.

‘They didn’t listen to the output and go, “Oh my god, Russell has just exposed himself to someone”.’

‘It made me sick but I felt it corroborated my story that he is a predator, he is a leech, he is not a very nice men so in a way I felt vindicated because it was there and he actually admits to doing it.’

Earlier this week, Morgan issued a statement to the BBC’s News At 10 about the alleged flashing incident.

‘I was not aware until now of the nature of this encounter. I’ve expressed my regrets now looking back at the impact of the [radio] show, and this is a further example,’ Morgan said.

‘The recent coverage has been very distressing to read and I reiterate my absolute condemnation of any form of mistreatment of women.’

Morgan added that he’d stopped working with Brand several years ago and during the time they worked together he was ‘not aware’ of any allegations of serious sexual misconduct against Brand.

Rachel’s claims follow earlier allegations of Brand’s behaviour exposed in a joint investigation by The Sunday Times and Channel Four’s Dispatches.

Several women have come forward to make allegations against the comedian, which they claim happened at the height of his fame.

The shocking allegations, said to have occurred between 2003 and 2013, include the alleged rape of a woman at his home in Los Angeles and the alleged sexual assault of a 16-year-old schoolgirl.

Brand has denied the accusations, claiming all of his relationships had been consensual.

He dismissed the allegations as part of a vendetta against him by the ‘mainstream’ media.

On Friday night, he released a video on social media channels thanking his followers for their ‘support and for questioning the information that you have been presented with’.

He went on to announce he would be returning his show on Rumble – an online video platform – after adverts on his YouTube channel were suspended in light of the allegations.

In a rambling speech, he accused the British Government of demanding that big technology platforms censor his online content and took a swipe at his former employer the BBC for its ‘trusted news initiative’ that tackles fake news.

Rachel told 60 Minutes she feels deep shame and regret for never making an official complaint at the time.

In a statement, the BBC said they are looking into her allegations.

‘We are conducting a review to look at allegations of this nature and if the woman who has shared her story is willing to speak to us, we would be very keen to hear from her and anyone else who may have information,’ the statement said.

‘A key part of the review is to understand what complaints were made at the time, if there was knowledge of Russell Brand’s conduct while he worked on BBC radio, and what was done as a result.

‘We will of course speak to the bureau team and anyone who was working there in 2008 as part of this.

‘Further, the Director General has been very clear that some broadcasts from that period were, and are, inexcusable and totally unacceptable, and would never be aired today.’
