Now the 57-year-old Mexican-born Frida star has explained how she stays so thin, and it’s not necessarily with the help of strenuous exercise.
Rather, she gets her slim shape from mediation, she shared with Entertainment Tonight this week.

‘I really believe it is. People say it’s exercising. I think it’s meditation,’ she told ET this week.
‘You have to find your way. For me, exercising is hard,’ she admitted. ‘It’s really, really difficult to have the discipline to do it. But meditation is a walk in the park, because it’s my own form of it.’
The red carpet favorite meditates every day and she enjoys sitting ‘in a moment with yourself.’
Hayek is 5ft1in and possesses a voluptuous figure with estimated body measurements of 39-24-38 inches. She reportedly weights 132lbs.
In July, while speaking on Kelly Ripa’s SiriusXM podcast Let’s Talk Off Camera, Salma strongly denied ever using Botox after Kelly asked her about her gorgeous complexion.
She claimed that she could meditate for ‘hours’ after developing her own technique, which she found more helpful than trying to completely clear her mind, ‘because you don’t feel the time, and it’s so much fun.’

However, she did admit to using radio frequency and micro-frequency machines, which she believed help to tighten her skin and help prevent the appearance of significant wrinkles.
During a past interview with Glamour in February, the actress said she has positive feelings towards getting older.
‘I thought getting older meant I wasn’t going to work; I’m working. I thought getting older maybe meant that you’re not in love anymore; I’m in love,’ Hayek gushed to the outlet.

She said: ‘I use an ingredient called Tepezcohuite that’s used in Mexico for burn victims because it completely regenerates the skin, and there’s no one in the States who is using this ingredient except for us.
‘Some of the ingredients, when I took them to the American labs, they were like “Oh my god! How come nobody is using this?”
‘This is why I have no Botox, no peels, no fillings.’
Hayek last starred as Kitty Softpaws in the critically-acclaimed Puss In Boots: The Last Wish. And she was also seen in Magic Mike’s Last Dance.
She will also star in Angelina Jolie’s next directorial effort Without Blood, which is currently in post-production.

The actress stars alongside Demian Bichir in the adaptation of Alessandro Baricco’s novel, adapted by Jolie herself.
She has a daughter, Valentina Pinault, 15, with her husband, François-Henri Pinault.
Pinault is the chairman and CEO of the luxury corporation Kering, which owns the fashion brands Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Puma and Yves Saint Laurent, among others.
They announced their engagement back in 2007.
The couple were later married on Valentine’s Day 2009 in Paris.
Hayek is now also the stepmother to his three children from previous relationships: son François and daughter Mathilde, from his previous marriage to Dorothée Lepère, and son Augustin James Evangelista, from his relationship with the supermodel Linda Evangelista.
