Sam Burgess moved out of the marital home he shared with wife Phoebe and their two children shortly before Christmas.
But on Sunday, the NRL star was spotted back at the $3.8 million property in Sydney’s Maroubra for the first time in more than a month.
It appeared to be a quick pit-stop for the Rabbitohs player, 30, who looked downcast as he left the premises without a wedding ring on his finger.

The insider explained that the break-up was particularly hard on Phoebe because Sam’s mother, Julie Burgess was standing by her son.
‘It would have been hard for Phoebe because Julie would have completely stuck by Sam… and there’s talk she didn’t offer Phoebe much support,’ they claimed.
