Wish you were here? On Thursday, convicted drug smuggler Schapelle Corby enjoyed some downtime at the beach while on holiday in Greece

‘She is neither genius nor dumb, but of average intelligence. And I love her the way she is,’ Schapelle captioned one of the photos.

In the image, she posed under a beach umbrella while wearing a black swimsuit and a retro bucket hat.

She also shared another snap to her Instagram Story, in which she gazed away from the camera and clutched her hat in the wind.

It comes after Schapelle, who spent almost a decade behind bars in Bali for drug smuggling, was recently spotted wearing a diamond ring while buying baby supplies at a Kmart store in Brisbane.

New Idea first reported that Schapelle was ‘pregnant and engaged’ last month, but the former felon is yet to confirm either.

She is in a long-term relationship with Ben Panangian, an Indonesian surfer she first met at Kerobokan Prison in 2006.

In March, Schapelle told Woman’s Day that she and Ben, 38, were trying for a baby.

At the time, she claimed they were ‘hoping to become pregnant’ while on holiday in Thailand. This trip eventually took place in April.

The couple only spend ‘two precious weeks a year together’ because Ben is unable to enter Australia due to his criminal record.

Schapelle can return to Indonesia if she chooses, but does not feel ‘comfortable’ doing so yet. Instead, she and Ben meet in countries where visas are not required for entry.

Schapelle became a household name after she was arrested in October 2004 at Bali’s Ngurah Rai Airport with 4.1kg of marijuana wrapped in plastic inside her boogie board bag.

She was later sentenced to 20 years in prison, but after a series of sentence reductions was released on parole in February 2014 after nine years behind bars.

In May 2017, she was deported back to Australia amid a media frenzy.
