Serena Williams told her daughter that she is going to be a big sister in an adorable Youtube video posted to her channel on Tuesday.
The 41-year-old tennis superstar — who revealed she is pregnant with her second child on the Met Gala red carpet earlier this month — documented the moment she told Olympia, five, the happy news.
The clip, titled ‘Olympia’s Surprise’, started out with Serena showing the camera a close-up of a positive pregnancy test, revealing she was ‘super happy.’
Serena then recalled a funny anecdote as she told the camera that Olympia did not know she was pregnant yet, but did call her ‘fat’ and was ‘stressed out’ by her weight gain.
Later in the video the athlete was joined by her husband Alexis Ohanian, 40, as they broke the news to the little girl, who was overjoyed and began running and shrieking in excitement.

Serena looked stylish in a Gucci sweater and blazer as she started out the video while chatting to the camera vlog style.
‘Olympia does not know right now that I am pregnant, but she did call me fat, and then she got really like stressed out,’ she told the camera.
‘She was like “Mommy, you’re fat,”‘ Serena shared while mimicking Olympia’s distraught voice.
‘I tried not to take it personal, ’cause I’m like super into fitness, but I’m like, “uhh, am I?”‘
‘I’m really, really excited to see her reaction,’ she added.
The next clip saw the family sitting on the couch, with Olympia looking adorable in floral pajamas as she sat in between her parents.
‘Remember how you’ve been praying for a little sister or brother?’ Serena asked her.
‘Well, we went to the doctor, and it turns out I’m not getting fat,’ Serena said as her husband laughed.

The Michigan-born star then unbuttoned her jeans and raised her blue t-shirt to reveal her baby bump.
At the sight of Serena’s belly Olympia jumped off the couch and began to scream in excitement while making rounds around the couch.
Serena then shared the process of getting ready for the Met Gala, where she would officially debut her baby bump.

The video showed an array of different jewels and accessories as Serena revealed she would be wearing Gucci.
‘Today at the Met it’s such a big moment for me. I am revealing to the world that I am pregnant,’ she stated as the footage saw the couple in the back of the car making their way to the event.
‘I’m expecting my second child, which is exciting. This is a really important time where this is the look that I’m going to show my daughter or my son when they’re born.’
‘One day they’ll look back and see, this is how mommy expressed herself and told everyone that she was pregnant with you.’
‘And you want this moment to be totally iconic, and totally fresh, but yet really special.’
The end of the video showed the couple on the red carpet, with Serena stating, ‘I think it went well. We walked the red carpet. We made the announcement. And most of all, we had a blast.’
During the red carpet Serena showed off her bump in a striking black dress that hugged her curves.
It featured angular rhinestone trim on the hem and billowing sheer pleated sleeves that hung dramatically around her arms.

The video ended with Serena showing off her after party outfit look, featuring a black mini skirt and a white blazer, as she stated, ‘And now, it’s time to party.’
Williams and the Reddit co-founder have been married since 2017.
Serena had previously mentioned wanting to have another child after announcing her retirement from tennis in August of last year.
At the time, she said she would be ‘evolving away’ from the sport.
