Sex And The City star reveals what she REALLY thinks of Australian men

Sex and the City creator Candace Bushnell has shared her thoughts on Australian men.

The author, who published the 1996 book that inspired the HBO series, is very complimentary about the ‘manly’ male population Down Under.

‘I think people feel that Australian men are quite attractive and very manly,’ the 65-year-old told the Herald Sun on Wednesday.

‘I’m sure they’re fabulous and I don’t really know too much, but I’m really looking forward to going back to Australia,’ she added.

Candace went on to admit there is probably an Australian version of Mr. Big, one of her most memorable characters.

‘I’m sure Melbourne has its own Mr Big, I feel we all have a little bit of those characters in us,’ she said, referring to the on-again off-again boyfriend of the show’s main character, Carrie Bradshaw.

Bushnell is set to tour Australia in December, and will visit Canberra, the Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

According to the event page, Bushnell’s one-woman show, called True Tales of Sex, Success and Sex and the City, shares her ‘remarkable philosophy through stories of fashion, literature, and, of course, sex.’

Following critically acclaimed tours of the US and UK, Candace said, ‘I’m so excited to be coming back to Australia.
