Sharny Kieser shares snap of the excess skin on her stomach

Sharny Kieser, 39, has inspired thousands of women around Australia with her fitness tips and tricks designed for busy mothers.

The fit mother-of-six famously transformed her body after the birth of her fourth child by adopting ‘fit pregnancies’ and altering her fitness regime – a routine that has since made waves around the world.

Despite her lean physique, Ms Kieser takes care to ‘keep it real’ online and regularly shares snaps of her ‘stretch marks’ and curves online in a bid to prove ‘nobody is perfect’.

And on Monday, the doting mum shared a snap of her ‘sloppy mum tummy’ on her Facebook page Sharny & Julius after being asked by countless women how they can get rid of their ‘disgusting loose skin’.

You can surgically tighten your tummy skin, just like you can surgically increase or decrease your boobs,’ she said.

This should surely be the most celebrated part of a human body.

‘What I’m more concerned with is the word “disgusting”. Please don’t say that.

‘When your daughter has given you grandkids, are you going to tell her that her stomach is disgusting? Of course not, so don’t say it to yourself.’

Ms Kieser said no woman’s stomach is ‘disgusting’, ‘weird’ or ‘different’ – it is simply a sign of motherhood which is something to be celebrated.

'Every single person's first home was a mummy tummy. Our future is 100 per cent dependent on a mummy tummy. That's a HUGE deal,' she said (pictured with husband Julius)

‘Flat tummy, stretched tummy, loose skin, tight skin, stretch marks, tattoos, piercings, surgically tightened skin, C-section scars. It doesn’t matter what your tummy looks like, it’s F*****G AMAZING!’ She continued.

As a result, Ms Kieser inspired thousands of other mothers to share their own ‘mummy tummies’ on the post.

Before: Ms Kieser gained 30 kilos during her first four pregnancies

After: Ms Kieser only gained 10 kilos during her fifth and plans to do the same this time

Ms Kieser has been open about her body issues for years and while her fifth and sixth pregnancies were a ‘breeze’, this wasn’t always the case.

In fact, the fitness author’s first pregnancies ‘spiralled out of control’ with 30 kilo weight gains, an unhealthy diet, severe morning sickness and post-natal depression.

‘During the [earlier] pregnancies I was feeling worse and worse, and feeling tired and had nerve pain through my legs and I was constantly feeling the pressure of just everything,’ she told Daily Mail Australia previously.

So easy: Ms Kieser's previous labour was only 15 minutes, which she puts down to her fit pregnancy

‘I felt like I was failing, so after my fourth baby I decided to take control and lose the weight and that’s when I lost the 30 kilos.’

Ms Kieser put the success of her last two pregnancies down to what she calls a ‘fit pregnancy’ – where women stay active and do what they were doing before they were pregnant but just listening to their bodies.

‘After the previous four pregnancies I was overweight and I had this enough is enough” moment,’ she said.

‘I looked at myself in the mirror and was like “oh my God who has eaten Sharny” – I felt like this fat old woman and that’s how I saw myself… it was all in my head but I just felt miserable.’

By eating well and exercising regularly, Sharny was blessed with no morning sickness, no post-natal depression and an easy birth.

‘Also, it’s not all about body image, there’s so much more to it – your energy levels, no aches and pains and general happiness,’ she said.

‘It’s honestly the most amazing thing I’ve ever experienced.’
