Simone Holtznagel reveals she had her hair, nails and tan done to prepare for labour with newborn daughter Gia: ‘I at least wanted to look nice’

Simone Holtznagel has revealed that she spared no expense making sure she felt good about herself as she headed into the delivery room. 

The model, 30, tells this week’s issue of Stellar Magazine that she tended to her tresses, skin and nails to welcome newborn daughter Gia. 

‘For the [last] two or three weeks, I swear I was doing a full wash and blow-dry of my hair every two or three days, on top of my tanning routine’ she said. 

‘I’d also got my nails done, so I was ready to go into spontaneous labour at any point. It was more to make me feel good than anything.’

Simone, whose daughter is now one month old, explained that she wanted some control during the birthing experience. 

‘Having a baby, you’re so exposed; every person that has been coming in and out of the room, you’re like splayed open, you don’t have any kind of modesty’ she said. 

‘If I was covered in blood or whatever else was going on, I at least wanted to look nice’. 

Last month, Simone welcomed her first child with her personal trainer boyfriend Jono Castano.

The blonde bombshell announced the happy news on her Instagram page alongside a series of adorable photos of her newborn.

She revealed that baby Gia arrived on Easter Sunday.

‘On Sunday March 31st we welcomed our healthy, baby girl Gia Holtznagel Castano into the world,’ she wrote in the caption.

‘We are totally and completely in love with her and enjoying these special moments as a family of three.’

Simone announced that she and boyfriend Jono were expecting their first child together in October and later confirmed they were having a baby girl.

At the time, Simone, who went public with her relationship with the celebrity trainer back in 2022, told Who magazine she was overjoyed with the news.

‘Kids have always been in our plan. We started talking about it more and more and then it just happened,’ she told the publication.

‘I’d also got my nails done, so I was ready to go into spontaneous labour at any point. It was more to make me feel good than anything’ she added
