A Brad Pitt lookalike has revealed what it’s really like to resemble the Hollywood star – including being ‘stalked’ by women who want to date him.
Nathan Meads, 35, lives in Oxford, where he combines his job as a groundworker with being a part-time Brad Pitt impersonator.
The father-of-two began working as a lookalike three years ago after being told repeatedly that he bears an uncanny resemblance to the famous actor.
Thanks to the pair’s near-identical appearance, Nathan now makes a nice chunk of cash off his face and has partied with big-name celebrities including Rio Ferdinand and Ricky Hatton.

Unsurprisingly, he’s also proven to be a big hit with the ladies and is often inundated with messages from women who want to date him, some of whom ‘relentlessly pursue’ him.
Despite this, Nathan is intent on remaining ‘humble’, ‘down to earth’ and, most importantly, single.
He said: ‘I was first told when I was 20 years old that I looked like Brad Pitt and this continued for about 10 years but I would always just laugh it off.
‘Some people would say I must be related to him or that my mum must have had an affair with him.
‘A lot of people, even now, will do a double-take when they walk past me or will ask me for a picture, although some of them just take pictures without me realising.
‘While hundreds of people told me I looked like him, I never did anything about it but then it became a constant thing that, wherever I went, people would say it.

Nathan works as a groundworker (pictured at his day job) and a part-time Brad Pitt impersonator which thanks to the pair’s near-identical appearance, he can make up to £500 for his lookalike work
‘So eventually I decided to send some photos into four different lookalike agencies and they all got back to me and said they wanted to work with me.
‘I was even contacted by Dorien Rose, the famous Angelina Jolie lookalike, and she couldn’t believe she hadn’t worked with me.’
Nathan can earn anywhere from £250-500 for his lookalike work, which is far more than he makes in his day job.
But while he’s very successful in his job, it can interfere with dating – as women accuse him of ‘catfishing’ them.
Others, obsessed with the real actor, stalk the groundworker, he claims.
He said: ‘I do get hit on by woman a lot, some of them just can’t believe how much I look like him and some of them accuse me of ‘catfishing’.
‘People always try and live video call me on my Instagram because they don’t think I’m real.
His resemblance to the actor has complicated his experience on dating sites as some women will accuse him of having a fake profile and others start ‘stalking’ him. Pictured: Nathan, left, and Brad Pitt, right.
However, the father said he is not really looking for love or to find his ‘Angelina’ and settle down right now as his daughters are his biggest priority

‘I’ve tried dating sites before but some women will accuse me of having a fake profile and others literally start stalking me.
‘They’ll add me on all of my social media profiles and keep messaging me so in the end, I just deleted my dating profiles and I’m just staying single.
‘I’m not really looking for love anyway and don’t want to settle down as my daughters are my world and my biggest priority.
‘I’m not looking for my Angelina.’
Since starting his part-time job as a lookalike, Nathan has been inundated with work offers and has met some very famous faces along the way.
Before lockdown, he was invited to the Glamour Awards in London as a special guest due to his resemblance to the actor, where he spent the night mingling with models, celebrities and musicians.
Nathan said: ‘It’s strange going to these events because I don’t feel like a celebrity myself, I’m just a normal person.
‘I also don’t get fazed when I meet celebrities as I’m quite a quiet and humble person myself.’

His resemblance to the actor has led him to rubbing shoulders with supermodels and stars and partied with big-name celebrities including Rio Ferdinand
Nathan also said he was approached by TV shows Big Brother and ITV’s Survival Of The Fittest but turned them down because he would have to leave his daughters for a few months
Nathan has also attended several London fashion shows where he’s rubbed shoulders with supermodels and stars.
On one particular occasion, he was invited to Rio Ferdinand’s Rosso restaurant after the footballer spotted him through his agent.
Nathan said: ‘[Rio] had me down on the special guest list.
‘I had just started out in my career and one of my agents got asked for me to attend so I met Rio who was really friendly and we said ‘hello’.
‘As soon as I walked in, Jason Grimshaw also shouted out ‘oh my f***ing god it’s Brad Pitt, I’m calling it!’ and everyone turned around and started asking me for photos.
‘It was a great night and good fun but I actually felt a bit embarrassed because I’m just this normal guy.
‘I’ve also partied with many celebrities from Love Island, Ex On The Beach and Big Brother, and I was also approached by the latter but turned them down because I just didn’t think it was for me.

Nathan doesn’t need a high-maintenance routine to look like Brad, claiming that he will ‘rarely work out’ or ‘eat healthy’ but that his full-time job keeps him fit
‘I also turned down ITV’s Survival Of The Fittest because it would have meant having to leave my daughters for a few months and I just couldn’t do that, I see them every weekend without fail.’
Nathan has also hung out with former British professional boxer Richard John Hatton, MBE and reveals that the athlete left him in a bit of an awkward spot.
He said: ‘I met Ricky at a charity event in Liverpool in 2018 when we were seated at the same table.
‘It was quality because, growing up, Ricky was the man.
‘But he actually left his bill unpaid for when he left the party, and me and my agent and a few others ended up having to fork out the money to pay it!’
While it may seem as though looking like Brad requires a high-maintenance routine, for Nathan it’s relatively simple.
Even though he looks just like him, Nathan said he is a big Brad Pitt fan and thinks he’s a great actor and hopes their paths will cross one day
He said: ‘I rarely work out, I’m just a hard worker and my full-time job keeps me very fit.
‘I don’t even eat healthy – I guess I’m just very lucky and all I have to do is style my goatee.’
Nathan is yet to meet his doppelgänger, but hopes their paths will cross one day.
He added: ‘I am a big Brad Pitt fan and I think he’s a great actor.
‘He plays all of his roles brilliantly and seems like a real gentleman and a family man so we have that in common, although we have very different bank balances.
‘People are always so surprised at how humble and down to earth I am when they meet me, probably a bit like him, but I just think we are all the same and I’ve just been blessed with these good looks!’
