Sinitta joins Paloma Faith and Alison Hammond at the star-studded British Diversity Awards

Sinitta was sure to turn heads on Wednesday night as she joined glamorous Paloma Faith and Alison Hammond at the star-studded Burberry British Diversity Awards held at London’s Grosvenor House.

The singer and former X Factor star, 59, dared to bare in a deeply plunging black mini dress which highlighted her cleavage and décolletage.

Sinitta also showcased her toned legs in the thigh-skimming number, which she teamed with towering heels and a colour block handbag.

Meanwhile, Paloma displayed her sense of style in a ruffled white top and matching skirt as she posed up a storm on the red carpet.

While Alison, who was awarded the prestigious Media Champion in the Public Eye award, dazzled in a sparkly black dress as she posed for snaps.

The Burberry British Diversity Awards honours those who inspire change across diversity and inclusion, with more than 1,000 celebrities and influential business leaders in attendance.

And Sinitta was sure to make her mark as she showcased her incredible figure in the showstopping dress.

It was a family affair on the night, with the So Macho singer attending the event alongside her son Zac.

Meanwhile Paloma, 41, teamed her elegant white top and skirt with a pair of black, leather opera gloves.

She added black tights and heels to her look as well as a crocodile print black handbag.

Her stylish look was completed with a black hair bow tied into her blonde locks, with the Can’t Rely On You hitmaker added a further touch of glam with winged eyeliner and a coral lip.

The chart-topper had presented Alison, 48, with a top gong, after being recognised for her work highlighting racism, inequality and injustice on major broadcasting platforms and across her social media platforms.

Alison was in good company as, in recent years, Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Westlife singer Mark Feehily and Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher have all scooped gongs.

Burberry British Diversity Awards founder, Linda Riley, said of the event: ‘I’d like to congratulate all of the deserving winners at this year’s Burberry-sponsored British Diversity Awards.

‘The awards rightly recognise the organisations and individuals who are doing so much to champion diversity in the workplace. It is such an important strand of any business and the winners understand how vital it is.

‘Diversity not only drives up standards and engenders a more cohesive culture but it also helps boost productivity and growth.

‘We have come so far but we are witnessing a worrying increase in intolerance and hate crimes against minorities. That’s why we will continue to bang the drum for all things diversity and inclusion to make the UK a better place to live and work for everyone.’

Alison’s big win comes as her career appears to be on the rise as she was recently announced as the new host of The Great British Bake Off.

The This Morning presenter had originally been mooted as a potential replacement for Little Britain star Matt Lucas, who announced he would be stepping down as host last year, in February.

Taking to Instagram on Friday, Hammond confirmed her new role on the Channel 4 show by sharing a video of herself and co-host Noel Fielding alongside judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith as iced figurines atop a large Bake Off-themed cake.

Staging a mock press conference, Hammond’s voice is heard as she films the figurines.

‘Breaking news everyone,’ she announces. ‘Alison Hammond is joining the team of the Great British Bake Off. Alison, have you got any words whatsoever?’

Zooming in on her iced caricature, she adds: ‘Do you know what? I’m just so very excited. As you can see, all my colleagues are absolutely speechless. We’re so very happy and we can’t wait to get started!’

Captioning the post, she wrote: ‘It’s OFFICIAL!!! It’s happening The Great British Bake off! Let’s have it!’
