Richard Wilkins put on a brave face as he celebrated his granddaughter’s birthday over the weekend following reports he has split from his long-time girlfriend Nicola Dale.
The 69-year-old TV veteran dressed himself up as a groovy ‘Ken Doll’ for the three-year-old’s Barbie themed soiree.
Richard shared a picture from the event in which he can be seen beaming proudly while posing with his son Christian, 28, daughter Rebecca and birthday girl Abigail.
Richard’s outfit consisted of a an unbutton black shirt which exposed his bare chest, matching black jeans, a black and white bandana and darks shades.
He also wore a number of chains around his neck.

Meanwhile, Christian dressed in a paisley pink halterneck top and shorts while Rebecca opted for sarong.
Abigail, who is the second child of Richard’s eldest daughter Rebecca and husband James, was outfitted a cute pink ‘Barbie’ onesie.
Richard added a gushing birthday message to his granddaughter.
‘Is there anything more joyous than the squeals of glee at a 3 year old’s Barbie Birthday party ! ?? I think not … !,’ the proud grandfather messaged.
‘Congratulations, James and Bella. Happy Birthday Abbie!! Granddaddypapbear loves you so much.’

Richard also added a sly joke at Australia’s Barbie Hollywood superstar: ‘P.S. you have a lot to answer for Margot Robbie!’
