Stuck in the S-bend! Horrifying moment man finds a huge snake curled up in the bottom of his toilet

A man has been shocked to find an enormous snake curled up in the bottom of his toilet bowl, accompanied by a curiously relaxed frog.

Townsville resident Ziggy Czech was greeted by the odd duo when he attempted to use his outdoor loo on Monday morning.

The horrifying backyard discovery was that of nightmares.

He took to local Facebook group the Townsville Snake Catchers for advice on how to safely remove the carpet python and his frog friend.

An approved snake identifier who has access to the page, Justin Wright, confirmed the breed of the snake, known as being generally harmless.

Carpet pythons can be known to grow up to three metres in length.

The snake, which was curled tightly within the bottom of the bowl, appeared larger than average.

‘He’s pretty big. He might be stuck. Which means he needs help,’ Tamara Thomspon wrote on the post.

‘Looks like there is a frog on him. Not a good sign,’ she went on to add, referencing the belief the snake might be unwell or hurt.

‘How has he not been eaten?’ Another concerned person added.

The image is one that haunts many Australian’s as a nightmare situation.

‘Hence why I always make sure the lid is down….its been one of my phobias…’ Denise Strickland wrote.

‘I’d faint, gosh that’s scary,’ another woman added.

Mr Czech, who’d only moved to beachside Pallaranda, in Queensland’s far north a week prior, said while the snake was ‘beautiful’, he’d much prefer it remained a steady distance from him, ‘in nature’, where it belongs.
