Man is stabbed ‘multiple times’ in the head and another is struck in the shoulder in suburban horror attack

A man has been stabbed ‘multiple times’ in the head while another has been struck in the shoulder following a fight with a group of men in Sydney.

Police and paramedics were called to Park Rd in Homebush, in the city’s west, about 12.35pm over reports of a brawl.

One man, 48, was found with ‘significant’ stab wounds to his head, while the other man, 20, had a shoulder wound.

Two suspects – believed to be aged in their 20s and 30s – fled the scene in a Silver Volvo.

The victims ‘suffered serious bleeding due to their injuries’, according to NSW Ambulance Inspector Dominic Wong 

Police initially provided first aid to the men before paramedics arrived and controlled the bleeding. 

The men were taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious but stable condition

A NSW Police spokesperson confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that four people were involved in the altercation that led to the stabbings.

‘Officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command located two men suffering stab wounds,’ the spokesperson said

One of the suspects is described as being of Asian appearance, of slim build and wearing dark clothing.

The other is described as being of Asian appearance, of a solid build, wearing a black hat and pink shoes.

‘Police have established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident,’ the spokesperson added.
