Taylor Swift’s team met with police before Jack Antonoff’s New Jersey wedding to prepare for a swarm of fans clamoring to get a glimpse of the singer.

Antonoff, 39, wed actress Margaret Qualley, 28, on Saturday at the picturesque seaside resort town of Beach Haven – with Antonoff’s pal and collaborator Swift, 33, leading the parade of celebrity guests.  

Beach Haven Police Chief James Markoski told TMZ the singer and producer’s security team met with the department two weeks before the nuptials.

It was also revealed Antonoff’s wedding planner paid for three additional officers to be on duty during the event. 

Two viewing areas were set up for fans outside the the Long Beach Island wedding party – with police also shutting down three intersections to prevent vehicles getting near the fans.

Markoski told the outlet fans showed up at 2pm and left around 1.30am and added he was expecting ‘much worse’, saying: ‘I couldn’t believe how calm it was.’

Taylor joined Lana Del Rey and Cara Delevingne at the star-studded wedding over the weekend.

Jack and Margaret were first linked in August 2021, and were engaged less than a year later in May 2022, setting the stage for their star-studded wedding Saturday at Parker’s Garage & Oyster Saloon in Beach Haven.

The wedding has proven to be a frenzy ever since guests started arriving, with Taylor fleeing the rehearsal dinner venue Friday night after hundreds of Swifties swarmed into the street outside.

So many fans flocked to Black Whale Bar & Fish House, just to catch a glimpse of their idol, that the street was shut down and the police arrived to prevent the tumult from spiraling out of control. 

On Saturday Margaret, who was a scene-stealing presence as a member of the Manson Family in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, opted for simple elegance with her bias-cut bridal gown.

Jack, whose dating history includes Girls impresaria Lena Dunham, also went for a classically stylish look, going down the aisle in a black tuxedo and matching tie. 

Earlier this month Swift marked the final concert on the first US leg of her Eras Tour at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium.

The songstress, whose tour will move to South America with dates beginning in Mexico City on August 24, wowed in a purple sequin dress teamed with flat leather boots as she marked 53 dates on the record-breaking tour.
