Teresa Giudice maintains ‘that chapter’s closed’ while giving an update on drama with her brother Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa: ‘I’m so over that’

Teresa Giudice and husband Luis Ruelas maintain they have both moved on from the drama with her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife Melissa.

While the relationship between Teresa and Melissa has always seemed to have its fill of tension, it appeared to get explosively worse after Luis accused his sister-in-law of cheating on Joe.

When pressed to comment on where things stand now at BravoCon 2023 in Las Vegas on Friday, November 3, Teresa told Us Weekly: ‘That chapter’s closed.’

The Real Housewives Of New Jersey star added, ‘I don’t even want to comment on it. It’s been so long now. I am so over that.’

Her husband, 48, then proceeded to back up his wife’s statement by concurring, ‘Yeah,’ along with a nod of agreement.

The drama: The Gorgas believed Teresa spread rumors that Melissa had been unfaithful

Family drama: Teresa Giudice, 51, offered an update on her current relationship with her brother Joe Gorga, 44, and his wife Melissa, 44, at Bravo Con 2023 in Las Vegas

The bad blood between the two sister-in-laws seemed to reach a boiling point when the Gorgas skipped Luis and Teresa’s wedding in August 2022.

Joe, 44, and Melissa, 44, believed that Teresa had spread rumors that Melissa had been unfaithful. But in the end the Gorgas, who have been married for 19 years, have repeatedly denied the cheating accusations.

Melissa was also reportedly upset that Teresa did not ask her to be one of the bridesmaids during the ceremony.

‘From day one with all the wedding drama, I was told on national TV I wasn’t gonna be a part of it,’ Melissa told the publication in October 2022.

‘I was told we are not close. I was told all of these things. So when you draw the line in the sand, well then, I have to stand behind the line,’ Melissa added. ‘And then don’t be upset when we’re behind the line because you drew it.’

Tensions rose even higher when Teresa and Melissa came face-to-face at the RHONJ season 13 reunion, and accused her brother and his wife of being the ones who helped put her in jail.

As a result, Teresa and her now ex-husband Joe Giudice were sentenced to prison in 2015 on multiple fraud charges.

After their reunion face off, Teresa went on to declare that she can’t wait to ‘never f**king look” at Melissa’s face again.

The two couples have since stopped speaking to each other despite the fact that they all returned for the upcoming season 14 of RHONJ.

‘I mean, I wouldn’t say easier,’ Teresa shared to Us Weekly, when asked about how the shoot has been going for the new episodes without any interactions with the Gorgas.

‘You have to watch it because it’s like, “Oh, it’s always about that.” Let’s see what happens [and] God willing there’ll be next year, but yeah. So, you have to watch the season to see,’ the original RHONJ cast member said in a tease for season 14.

BravoCon 2023 kicked off in Las Vegas on Friday, November 3, in what was the first of three days of fun with many of the Bravo stars at Caesars Forum.
