Teri Hatcher, 59, reveals why she is ‘definitely done with the dating apps’ after she was abruptly kicked off of Hinge

Teri Hatcher revealed why she was kicked off a dating app.

During her appearance on Getting Grilled with Curtis Stone, the 59-year-old actress opened up about the difficulties she had found in trying to ‘meet people’ in real life.

The Desperate Housewives actress – whose Super Bowl ring recently came under scrutiny – then revealed that she had tried out various dating apps in hopes of finding a romantic partner.

Hatcher recalled: ‘I’ve tried them all, and I tried my latest one. I tried Hinge. You know, I thought, “I’m gonna say to the universe that I am open and vulnerable, and I’m putting myself out there.”‘

The performer then stated that, although she felt as if the app would connect her with an available partner, she was abruptly removed from the platform.

Teri Hatcher spoke about being kicked off a dating app during an episode of Getting Grilled with Curtis Stone that was released earlier this month; she is seen in 2023

‘That’s what I thought my gesture of joining that Hinge app would be. And then they kicked me off,’ she said.

Although Hatcher stated that she reached out to the app’s support team to let them know that she was not attempting to catfish anyone, she eventually lost interest in using Hinge.

She stated: ‘I complained, I was like, “Can I have my money back [since] you kicked me off?” They apologized, and then I was like, “Eh, I’m sort of over it.”‘

The Tomorrow Never Dies actress then revealed that she had changed her mind about connecting with prospective partners the old-fashioned way.

‘I’m definitely done with the dating apps, and I feel like if there’s any way I’ll go somewhere and meet someone, that’s what it’s gonna have to be,’ she said.

Hatcher concluded by stating that she did not necessarily need to have a romantic partner in her life.

‘Honestly, I’m happy. I have a really full life, a really busy life. I have beautiful friends… don’t need a man. I have a cat,’ she said.

The performer has been romantically connected to various individuals in the past, and she was married to her first husband, Marcus Leithold, lasted from 1988 to 1989.

She eventually moved on with Jon Tenney, and the couple tied the knot in May of 1994.

The former couple went on to start a family with the birth of their daughter Emerson, 26, in November of 1997.

Hatcher and Tenney remained together until March of 2003, when they formally dissolved their union.

The performer’s daughter has since shown up in numerous photos that have been shared on her Instagram account.
