Tess Holliday shares another naked photo as she pledges to keep showing off her body

Tess Holliday has shared another naked photo of herself on Instagram, while pledging to keep showing off her body regardless of the criticism she receives.

The model, 33, took to Instagram on Tuesday to share the snap, which sees her posing fully nude on a grassy hill, holding a piece of fabric in her left hand and resting her head on her right arm.

In her caption, Tess said the past month has ‘tested [her] mental health’, adding that she’s prepared for her photo to be ‘mocked and judged’ after its publication.

‘This month tested my mental health, but here I am, still standing, still grateful, still happy, still a fat cover girl… but I’m also f*****g exhausted,’ Tess, who graces the cover of Cosmopolitan UK’s October issue, wrote.

‘I know this photo will piss people off, it will be shared worldwide while being mocked and judged, saying how I’m “negatively affecting” impressionable young minds, and I’m prepared for that.

‘My body has always felt like a war zone, but I’ve made peace with that. It’s your minds that need to change.’

Tess has faced backlash since the release of her Cosmopolitan cover from people who have accused her of promoting an ‘unhealthy’ image.

Piers Morgan, 53, has openly criticized the model on several occasions, warning that she is ‘morbidly obese’ and suggesting that she is setting a dangerous example for other young women.

Tess has addressed the controversy, telling ITV earlier this month: ‘I’m literally just existing in my body and I don’t have to prove that I’m healthy to anybody.

‘I’m so incredibly grateful to be able to exist in a space that other haven’t been able to before. My health is no one’s business. We could be talking about models that smoke two packs a day that no one sees. I could just go into a list of stuff.

‘But at the end of the day that’s not really what we should be discussing, because my message isn’t: “Let’s all be fat,” my message is: “Let’s love yourself regardless of how you look in your current body because your mental health is far more important before you can worry about your physical health.”‘

The photo Tess posted on Tuesday is one of several she has shared recently.

Just last week, the model shared a snap that sees her posing in front of a mirror in Long Beach, California, in a flesh-colored lingerie set, holding up her phone to capture the image.

At first glance, it’s easy to think Tess is naked in the photo, because the color of her lingerie closely matches that of her skin — and one Instagram user confessed in the comment section they almost got duped.

‘At first glance, I thought you were naked,’ that person wrote.

The model said rapper Lizzo, 30, told her she should caption the shot: ‘Damn… that look good.’

Tess finished her post with the body-positive hashtag #effyourbeautystandards, which she created to celebrate bodies of all shapes and sizes.

The photo, which garnered more than 68,000 likes in 11 hours and has now received more than 92,000 likes, was a hit with Tess’ fans, who told her in the comments section just how much the snap means to them.

‘Thank you for representing me. For your efforts to show the world that ALL bodies are beautiful, regardless of size or shape,’ one person wrote. ‘I think you are absolutely amazing and simply gorgeous.’

Another Instagram user told Tess she looked ‘stunning as usual’, while someone else called the model ‘very, very beautiful’.

One person wrote in a personal comment: ‘I was fat-shamed this week by a guy that wanted to hook up when I politely declined. I was bullied about my weight growing up and to hear those words again to my face brought so much of that back.

‘Because of your positive influence I was able to brush off the hate and smiled. So thankful for you and all you do. You’re beautiful.’

Earlier this month, Tess shared a black and white naked selfie on her Instagram feed, as part of a publication promoting a hotel-booking service and a hotel chain.

She can be seen in the sultry snap posing fully nude on her hotel bed, covering her chest with her left hand while taking a photo of her reflection in a mirror using her cellphone.

Several of Tess’ many tattoos appear in the photo, including the portraits of the actress Mae West, the drag queen Divine, and the Muppet character Miss Piggy on her right arm.

The model’s long hair is pulled back into a high ponytail and she’s wearing her signature make-up look featuring long, voluminous lashes, an impeccable complexion, defined brows, and a bit of contouring on her cheeks.

In her caption, Tess used the hashtag #sponsored, making it clear that she shared the selfie as part of a paid promotion.

‘Last-minute trip to NY for fashion week = last-minute hotel booked with @hoteltonight,’ she wrote in reference to a travel app that enables people to find hotel accommodations.

‘Thanks for a great stay @dreamhotels,’ she added, this time plugging the Dream Hotels group.

The chain has two locations in New York City, where Tess was staying for Fashion Week.
