The Bachelorette’s Anna Heinrich and Tim Robards go to Rose Bay Beach during coronavirus pandemic

Many beaches in Sydney’s eastern suburbs were closed to the public on Sunday, after people blatantly ignored social distancing rules designed to stop the spread of the deadly coronavirus.

So, Bachelor couple Anna Heinrich and Tim Robards decided to head to the stretch of sand in Rose Bay to soak up the sun.

Tim, 37, brought along his paddleboard and took it for a spin while Anna, 32, lay on the grass and watched her husband play in the water.

The beach in Rose Bay was not in lockdown and it is not suggested that Anna and Tim were not complying with social distancing.

The chiropractor-turned-actor couldn’t help but smile as he glided across the water on his paddleboard.

He waved to his wife and made funny faces to keep her entertained, while she lay down on a towel in the shade and flicked through her phone.

Parched from his paddleboarding session, Tim returned to shore and cracked open a cold bottle of kombucha to re-hydrate.

The couple were clearly ready for a dip as they arrived at the beach wearing their swimwear.

Anna donned a navy blue dotted swimsuit, a white skirt and canvas shoes while letting her blonde locks down and accessorising with a gold necklace and sunglasses.

Meanwhile, Tim went shirtless and barefoot, wearing nothing but his boardshorts as he clutched his board in one hand and paddle in the other.

But Tim recently flew back to Sydney after the filming of the show was shut down due to coronavirus fears.

Many beaches in Sydney’s eastern suburbs were shut down on Sunday after thousands of people defied social distancing rules to swim and sun bake.

The biggest crowd was at Bondi Beach. Later on the weekend, several backpackers tested positive for coronavirus in the Bondi area.
