The Bachelor’s Jimmy Nicholson shares sweet tribute to wife Holly Kingston as they celebrate their one year anniversary after announcing baby news

Jimmy Nicholson has posted a sweet tribute to his wife Holly Kingston to celebrate their one year wedding anniversary.

The Bachelor star, 34, took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a montage of the lovebirds’ first 12 months of wedded bliss.

Beginning with footage of the pair’s intimate wedding at Jimmy’s parents’ home in Sydney’s Palm Beach, the loved-up reel also showed the pair on honeymoon in Rome.

The clip closed with footage of Holly showing her positive pregnancy test and baby’s sonogram image.

‘Happy one year wedding anniversary to my beautiful wife,’ Jimmy captioned the adorable clip.

‘Thank you for being my biggest cheerleader, my mentor and my best friend. I could never have imagined this incredible life we live and I cannot wait to share it with our little [baby chick emoji].’

Jimmy ended the caption with a subtle dig: ‘Ps –  please close the cupboard doors.’ 

The throwback post was met with a flurry of well-wishes and congratulations, with Holly also taking time to chime in.

‘1. I miss an aperol 2. No promises re cupboard doors 3. Our kid is one lucky little thing to have you as their dad,’ she wrote.

Jimmy kept the sweet exchange going with: ‘1. I’ll have one for you. 2. It’s in the vows so you’re kind of screwed 3. [double love heart emojis].’

Others chimed in with one writing: ‘You two are literally my favourite couple ever. Now I’m eagerly waiting for your travel updates’

Another follower added: ‘Absolutely meant to be!! I remember this season and just knew Hols would be with you for life. Happy Anniversary love birds!’

It’s been a big year for Jimmy and Holly who announced they’re expecting their first child back in June.

The lovebirds announced the news alongside a gallery of beachside photos of the beaming couple. 

‘Coming 2024,’ they wrote alongside a hatching chick emoji.

It wasn’t long before the news was inundated with well wishers.

The Bachelor’s Osher Günsberg appeared to take credit for the couple’s pregnancy, with the former host writing, ‘You’re welcome’ alongside a red love heart emoji.

‘Congrats guys… enjoy your last few months of freedom before you enter hell! Just kidding, parenting is great,’ added Matty ‘J’ Johnson.

‘It’s out!! Woohoooo. So excited for you both. Love you! Congratulations x,’ wrote Married At First Sight’s Jules Robinson.

Jimmy and Holly fell in love on the 2021 season of The Bachelor Australia.

The pair moved into an apartment together in North Bondi in September that year, shortly after The Bachelor finale aired on TV.
