‘They needed to get her out immediately’: The Bachelor’s Laura Byrne suffered complications giving birth to daughter Marlie-Mae
She gave birth to daughter Marlie-Mae in June.
And Laura Byrne has revealed to this week’s Stellar magazine that she suffered a complicated delivery with the tot, who was in a posterior position.
The 33-year-old told the magazine: ‘They didn’t realise it right away, either. She was stuck; they needed to get her out immediately.

‘So there were complications and it wasn’t the easiest of births. But I was just so happy that she was out and in the world that my memory of it is not traumatic.’
Laura was induced, explaining: ‘And then I was in labour and I didn’t get a break. It was just a constant contraction. So after about an hour I was like, f**k this. Give me all the drugs’.
Fiancé Matty Johnson says he has taken to fatherhood like a duck to water.

‘Being a dad was something I always wanted,’ told Stellar magazine. ‘So this shift has been easy to manage.’
