A Florida man has been rushed to hospital after being attacked by a shark in the Bahamas.
The 32-year-old from Fort Lauderdale was snorkeling with two other American tourists off Nippers Beach in Guana Cay late Thursday when he was bitten by the predator.
The man – who has not been publicly named – was taken to Marsh Harbour clinic to be treated for his injuries.
He was later flown to south to the main island of New Providence for further treatment, according to CBS.
His current condition has not been disclosed, and authorities have not whereabouts on his body he was bitten.

It’s the second time in less than two weeks that an American tourist has been attacked by the sea creatures while on holidays in the Bahamas.
On June 26, college student Jordan Lindsey, 21, died after being viciously targeted by three sharks near Rose Island.
The Californian’s right arm was torn off during the attack and she suffered bites to her left arm, both legs and buttocks.
Lindsey’s parents said they saw the sharks approaching and yelled to warn her but she didn’t hear them in time.

She was rushed to the shore and taken to Doctor’s Hospital in Nassau, where she was pronounced dead.
The Bahamas are densely populated by sharks and have several shark diving locations where feeding the beasts is common practice.
Tiger sharks, hammerheads, blacktips and bull sharks all navigate the waters which tourists flock to each year.
However, fatal shark attacks in the country are rare.
According to the Florida Museum, there were only five shark attacks in the Bahamas between 2007 and 2018. Only three of those were fatal.
