The Block: Makeup artist Tanya Guccione reveals the biggest beauty trend set to sweep Australia

EXCLUSIVE: The Block star and celebrity makeup artist Tanya Guccione reveals the biggest beauty trend set to sweep Australia this summer – and her go-to brands she can’t get enough of

She soared to fame after being at the forefront of the biggest cheating scandal The Block has ever seen this season.

But away from the world of reality TV, Tanya Guccione is a successful makeup artist who works her magic on her masses of clients, including a number of celebrities.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia on Thursday, Tanya revealed the biggest beauty trend set to sweep across Australia this summer – and her go-to beauty products she’s always reaching for in her tool kit.

Success story: Away from the show, Tanya is a celebrity makeup artist with a significant following on Instagram, where she likes to show off her work

‘The trends that are coming are steering away from that heavily contoured look,’ she said.

‘There’s this real love for glowing skin that us Australians particular love the most. Think a lot of glossy lips, shimmering eyes and a nice mascara – it never goes astray.’

Her go-to makeup brands include Trinny London, Giorgio Armani and YSL.

She said of her skincare routine: ‘I am a sucker for a good serum. I use a good hyaluronic acid with a pore-minimising mist, and I do love a brand called Osmosis skincare.

Glam: Tanya recently shared a photo of herself in full glam makeup. On her eyes, she used a dazzling Colorfix shadow from Danessa Myricks ($24) combined with the roller black liquid eyeliner from Benefit ($24). On her lips, she used a NARS lipstick in the shade Barbara ($34) and a Trinny London bronzer ($45) flashed across her cheeks

‘It is naturally derived and sourced, vegan. Then I use a moisturiser, and then – of course – sunscreen.

‘If you prep your skin properly, your makeup will go the distance.’

Scandal: On The Block, the 39-year-old became public enemy number one after an 'anonymous tradie' sent her a photo of the show's production schedule, giving her and husband Vito - plus the Packham twins - an unfair advantage over their rivals

To hide any under-eye bags, she used the Bye Bye Under Eye concealer from It Cosmetics ($42).

During the interview, Tanya also revealed whether or not she’d ever had Botox.

The purple-haired star said while she’s ‘not against’ getting the anti-wrinkle injections, she hasn’t yet had the procedure done herself.

However, she did undergo another procedure recently which she claims she’ll ‘never do again’.

‘I recently had a bit of filler put in my lips as I wanted to experience it first-hand,’ she said. ‘I have good genetics – my mum looks super young – but I did put a little bit in.

‘Let me tell you, it was excruciating. I was dying. I will never do that again.’

She added that she didn’t opt for numbing cream for the experience, and said the change in her lips certainly wasn’t ‘life-changing’.

The Block continues Sunday at 7:00pm on Channel Nine
