The Block’s Sarah and George Bragias announce they’re expecting their first child: ‘We couldn’t be happier!’
The Block’s Sarah and George Bragias have announced they are expecting their first child together.
The couple told this week’s New Idea the new addition to their family is a ‘blessing’.
‘We’re expecting a baby boy and we couldn’t be happier,’ Sarah, 28, said.

George, 34, added: ‘I’ve always wanted to have a family and as we got older we came to realise there’s something missing and that was children.’
The couple will be taking a traditional approach when it comes to choosing a name.
‘We’ve been googling best names but there’s so many. Whatever we decide, it will be something traditional and sentimental,’ Sarah explained.

Sarah and George pocketed $650,002 during last year’s Block auction, selling their home for $4,000,002 after setting the reserve at $3,350,000.
Wiping away tears of joy, Sarah said the sale was ‘nuts’.
George revealed to host Scott Cam they were now able to pay off their mortgage.

‘It will be something traditional and sentimental’: The couple also revealed they will be taking a traditional approach when it comes to deciding on a name
‘Mate, we came on this show with the goal to pay our house off, mate. Nothing more, nothing less. We’ve done it,’ he said.
Last year, the married couple revealed they were ready to start a family after designing a little girl’s bedroom on the show.
‘I was clucky when I saw that room at the end. I think it kind of ignited a little “child fire” inside me. I thought, “I’d love to recreate this for my children,”‘ Sarah said.
