The ultimate packing hacks to let you squeeze more things into your luggage

It’s June and the holiday season is upon us.

After choosing where to go and when, we’re left with with the even harder decision of working out what clothes to pack inside our suitcase.

And preciesely what to take always can leave many feeling frustrated – especially when we have children we need to pack for too.

We’re left wondering exactly how we’re going to fit all our clothes in.

But thanks to a self proclaimed ‘DIY boss’ on TikTok, you’ll hopefully be able to take everything you need along with you.

Robyn Stanley, who goes by @the_house_acc on the social media site, shared a few nifty hacks on how you can make sure that all your clothes, accessories and personal items fit into one suitcase.

Her video has gone viral, with over 17,5000 likes and 7,000 users commenting on how much she has ‘helped with her packing techniques.’

The clip, which she captioned ‘pack for holiday with me; must haves & hacks’, Ms Stanley begins by showing off the small Tripp suitcase she uses for her travel.

And this gives viewers an idea of now only how big her bag is, but how much she is actually able to fit inside.

The first tip the TikToker gives is to never ‘fold but roll your clothes,’ as she proceeds to exhibit how it is done on different items of clothing.

She demonstrates her fold and roll technique on single items, and outfits together in order to help save space in the suitcase.

Ms Stanley adds that this way also makes sure that your clothes ‘crease less,’ but they are also ‘much easier to find at your destination.’

Next, she recommends that travellers pack clothes into what she describes as packing cubes.

She shows how she puts the rolled up items of clothing into ‘cubes’ neatly, as she adds that it ‘keeps everything organised.’

The influencer says that she was able to put five outfits into one ‘cube’, including socks too.

For all the jewellery you’d like to bring on your trip with you, you can partition it up into pill boxes.

This way, it won’t get lost or mixed up with other earrings.

And for your necklaces or bracelets, you can use organza bags to section them out.

For when you need to take all your chargers with you and your kids – including for all your phones, iPads, Nintendo’s and more – there’s just one extension plug you need, Ms Stanley says.

Showing a T-shaped extension plug, you’ll be able to plug up to four devices to charge at the same time.

And with so many cables to think about too, purchasing a cable organiser will help you store them neatly.

When it comes to your body washes and hair shampoo, the influencer recommends using ‘solids instead of liquids’.

You can now purchase bars of body wash, shampoo and conditioner, which she says ‘weights less, is smaller’ and there’s ‘no room limit so they’re perfect for hand luggage.’

And as an added bonus, there’s no chance the bars will leak either.

With holiday season just around the corner, TikTokers have praised Ms Stanley for showing the useful hacks.

One user wrote: ‘Absolutely love this.’

And another said: ‘Brill! I’ve been looking for this rolling back I’m going on a cruise ship for a week and I can’t make them smaller but I saw this video & so much room.’

A third commented: ‘Clever,’ as another also simply commented: ‘Good ideas.’

Meanwhile, one TikToker said: ‘Loving these tips Robyn!’
