The Japanese company first released The Toaster in 2015 and said the product ‘delivers the ultimate aroma and texture thanks to its unique steam technology and precise temperature control, resulting in the flavour and texture of freshly-baked bread.’

By using the steam technology this ‘envelops the bread, lightly toasting its surface, while keeping its inner moisture and flavour from escaping’, resulting in perfectly toasted bread.

The five operative settings include toast mode, cheese toast mode, French pan mode, croissant mode and classic mode – all of which have varying set temperatures.

Further to the five options, users can also choose to set the toaster at 170, 200 or 230 degrees Celsius for up to 15 minutes, but only one to two minutes is recommended if a high setting is used.

Not only does the product make toast, the various modes are also suited to make pizza, pastry, croissants and artisan bread.

While the product was originally sold in only Japan and South Korea, other international customers can now purchase the product from Amazon.

On Amazon another woman wrote: ‘I was first not sure whether it is worth spending over $300 on a toaster oven – but now that I have used it for a month, this is one of the best purchases I have ever made in my life.’
