A thug who previously beat his ex-partner posted an ‘upskirt’ photo of her genitals on Facebook when she refused to get back together with him, a court heard.
Kieron Stacey, 30, uploaded an image of the woman’s genitals and buttocks onto Facebook, captioned with the comment: ‘Coming soon to yet another bloke near you.’
The victim’s face was not visible in the photo, but she could identify it by the bed sheets in the image.
Stacey, from Scunthorpe, sent her a number of texts afterwards, saying he was going to call social services and tell them ‘what she was like’.
The victim received a notification about the photograph, which was online for under an hour, before it was deleted by Stacey when he realised what he had done, the court heard.
The 30-year-old – a father who has a previous conviction for domestic violence against the same ex-partner while she was pregnant – appeared in court after pleading guilty to an offence of disclosing a private sexual photograph with intent to cause distress.
He was spared jail and was sentenced to 24 weeks in prison, suspended for two years.
Manchester Crown Court heard that the couple’s relationship had been happy, and they had an 18-month-old child together, but Stacey became ‘abusive and violent’.
Previously he received a suspended prison sentence after attacking her while she was 12 weeks pregnant, the court heard.
Then in November 2017, Stacey posted an image of the woman’s genitals and buttocks onto Facebook.
Rachel White, prosecuting, described it as an ‘upskirting’ image taken while she was on a bed.

His lawyer said he uploaded it in a ‘moment of madness’, after he had stayed with his ex-partner and thought they may be getting back together.
In a statement read to the court, the victim said: ‘Posting this on Facebook was a disgusting thing to do.
‘It caused me considerable embarrassment and distress. It made me feel ashamed and horrible.’
After being arrested, Stacey lied to officers and said he hadn’t uploaded the image.
Then he said the image was of a different woman, then claiming he had uploaded it by mistake.
Stacey, who also has a previous conviction for battery against another ex-partner, later pleaded guilty.
Defending, Suzanne Hargreaves said Stacey, originally from Manchester, is in a new relationship with another woman and is remorseful.
The couple have just had a baby and they now live together in Scunthorpe.
Ms Hargreaves said Stacey’s partner knows about his convictions through Clare’s Law, which the Government last week said will become official following a trial period.
It was named after Clare Wood from Salford, who was murdered by her ex-boyfriend George Appleton, who had a history of violence against women.
Sentencing, Judge Timothy Smith told Stacey: ‘You have a history of violence towards those with whom you are in a relationship.
‘What you did as a consequence of her actions to you was to react in a way that was petulant, and can properly be seen as some degree of revenge against her.
‘You did that motivated by a desire to embarrass, humiliate and to cause distress, and that’s exactly what you did.’
Stacey, from Scunthorpe, was ordered to complete 175 hours of unpaid work, complete 30 rehabilitation activity requirement days and pay a fine of £300.
